More to come soon. And when I can share; you’ll see exactly what I mean👀 Until then; are you more drawn to minimal or bold design? Let’s debate in the comments 👇

30 days. 2 brands. Work I genuinely can’t wait to show you. I can’t share just yet but I’ll say this: these past 30 days have pushed my design skills further than I expected. I’ve been deep in minimal design lately and honestly? I’m in love. Clean layouts. Intentional whitespace.

Every element earning its place on the screen. It’s a different kind of discipline; resisting the urge to add more and trusting that less does the heavy lifting.

AI email design is ass and I'm not going to pretend it's not. I got so excited when Claude Design dropped and I was generating emails thinking holy shit this changes everything. But then I tried to actually use one for a client. Pulled it up and asked myself if I would actually upload this into Klaviyo and send it? No. Not even close. It looks good in a screenshot... but if you're the person who actually has to send this email to a real list and put your agency and brand's name on it… you know immediately it’s not good enough. I've tried or at least given a look at every email design tool out there and it's the same story every time. Even for copy, the best AI-trained copy still takes so much back and forth to get right that you might as well have written it yourself. And I think a lot of agencies are finding this out the hard way... They went all in on AI for production thinking it would save them time and money. But brands notice, and they'll churn because of it. We still have real humans writing copy and designing emails across all of our accounts. And in 2026 that's somehow become a competitive advantage lol Here's what I actually think is going to happen: Brands that don't obsess over design quality will be fine with AI output pretty soon. But eight and nine figure brands that actually care about how their emails look and read are a long way out from AI replacing humans for that level of work. I'm not anti AI. But I think people are way ahead of where the tech actually is right now and the reality of what brands are actually comfortable sending…

Notice those suddenly quiet about GPT Images 2.0 and Claude Design this week, when last week it was basically the end of designers.

When I need inspiration for statics, I go on BrandSearch hit Discovery, play with the filters, and I'm locked in. Your competitors' entire ad strategy is now visible. Meta, Google, TikTok, Instagram.. Hooks, native ads, viral content, all of it tracked in-depth. crazy lol

Realized sth lately… If I don’t finish the bulk of a design in one sitting, it’s 10x harder to get back into the same creative flow later.

One of major goal this year is to avoid soda; was scrolling through the web for wellness shots & came across Elixirshots. Decided to pull off an email design cos I loved their re-branding & product catalogue Made use of Claude AI for the copy and results are quite impressive!
