For reference, Hawaii was 3rd in the country last year in volleyball attendance. They had a season total of 89,500 for all 15 home combined. 4th was Minnesota with 80,800 for 17 home games.

I’ll be eager to get an official number from Nebraska. Assuming we’ll hear more after student tickets go on sale. Either way, Nebraska fans (and I’m including UNO, UNK and Wayne State in this) aren’t messing around with Volleyball Day in Nebraska.

@mitchsherman My 9 YO son saw the replay once and said tip, side out LSU. This confirms Nebraska is a volleyball state.

Need a volleyball official on the tipped-pass review in LSU-Alabama. Easy to see the fingertip of the defensive lineman bend on the replay. Official didn’t see it. Doesn’t matter if the trajectory of the ball changed.

@CT_Bergstrom Not to harsh, just slightly misdirected in my opinion. The system should never be allowed to fail in the way it was failing, but making it bigger, more expensive, and less efficient only adds to global warming.
