Any CA/Economist willing to do some numbers about the complete state of disarray in Mumbai? No elections to @mybmc Rampant Corruption. Poor infrastructure, Pathetic Planning, No maintenance. Zero attention to public transport. VAST SUMS spent on coastal roads and fancy links for CARS ONLY!! Rapes, RoadRage, Violence escalating! What is going on?? Now this! How the hell does it happen?

The great thing about Brazilian cities - Rio and São Paulo is that they are designed for citizens to walk and cycle. Cities have been made for people and not for cars. These cities are far more sustainable and liveable. Indian cities must learn from this and create walking and cycling paths for citizens.
