Today, the Rwanda Space Agency, in collaboration with @LODARwanda, @AFD_France, and key stakeholders, concluded a three-day workshop dedicated to the validation and closure of the feasibility study for a project leveraging data in particular satellite data to enhance climate resilience and adaptation in Rwanda’s districts. The project aims to use geospatial data at the district level to support disaster management, environmental monitoring, and climate resilience efforts.

Today, the Rwanda Space Agency team had the pleasure of engaging with students from @RwandaPolytec and @HopeHavenRwanda. The engagements included a tour of Rwanda’s Climate Observatory project at the University of Rwanda – College of Science and Technology, presentations of student projects that rely on geospatial data, and conversations on building careers in the space sector.
