@Wizarab10 I like to think we all have soulmates, it might not even be a romantic partner, just someone that connects with you on a deeper level. They understand you and they get you without you having to constantly explain to them

🚨 | #mufc continue to pursue a move for Mateus Fernandes. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue. West Ham demand £80m. United have shown a reluctance to meet that, but if a rival is prepared to meet that value, United hierarchy could be left with a decision to make. Spurs are a contender while PSG & Real Madrid are also interested. [@TheAthleticFC]

It's quite interesting the insanely unrealistic expectations that are placed on Peter Obi's shoulders. He's expected to be an expert in finance and economics, security, power, transportation, etc. All of this witout acknowledging that the most important attributes required of any aspiring Nigerian president are empathy, political will, compassion, honesty, integrity, and a track record of solving problems no matter the cost. Obasanjo was a former military officer without much expertise in these fields, but he remains one of the best presidents we've had in the 4th republic. What was the difference? He hired experts in every field. He reached out and poached Madam Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala from the world bank and handed over Nigeria's economy to her. He got the late Dora Akunyili and handed over NAFDAC to her. He got Prof. Soludo and handed over the CBN to him Oby Ezekwesili, Tim Menakaya, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, ABC Nwosu, Kema Chikwe, etc. The most important part of all this was that he gave them complete oversight of their respective ministries and provided them with whatever support they needed to succeed. He gave Dora Akunyili complete carte blache to clean up the food and drug sector. When her life was in obvious danger, he beefed up her security. Even when major players in the sector lobbied intensely to have her removed, he refused to cave. The result? Dora Akunyili remains the best NAFDAC DG Nigeria has ever had. We are currently witnessing a government where appointments are handed out as political settlements. Adelabu, a supposed expert in banking and finance, was handed our power sector. The defence minister remained there despite gross incompetence until pressure from the US led to his removal. The current defence minister is more interested in politics. The NSA is focused on politics and optics. Meanwile, Gilbert Chagoury, a notorious washman was given the highest national honour in the land, while being allowed unfettered access to our resources. Atiku Bagudu, who was notorious for helping Abacha launder billions of dollars is our current budget and planning minister, likely nominated by Chagoury to protect his interests. Dasuki, who is arguably the reason insecurity has progressed to this point, is currently being conferred with a national honour. You see all of this and still wonder what Peter Obi would do differently, while expecting him to be an expert in every field. He's running to be president, not finance minister or power minister or defence minister. Peter Obi as governor moved the government to Onitsha because he identified that as the hub of insecurity in the state, gave the security agencies all the logistical support they needed to clean up the state, and remained there until the insecurity was quelled. One of the first things he did as governor was to commission poverty mapping which helped highlight the most obvious causes of poverty in the state. This povrty mapping was concluded witin the first year, while he formulated the ANIDS vehicle with which he simultaneously developed every sector of the state. Most importantly, he hired experts in every field. Technocrats who were there strictly to get the job done, and not to play politics. That is the difference. Alex Otti never gave any detailed plans to improve Abia state before he became governor; yet, it is becoming increasingly obvious that he's the best thing that's happened to Abia state in the 4th republic. Peter Obi is honest, has a clean track record, has been scrutinised over and over again and found completely free of corruption, has an unblemished track record of integrity and competence. Yet, you ask dishonest questions and make clever by half statements to muddle the waters and make it appear like he's no different. You're a very dishonest person. Your current president BTW fielding a question on insecurity 👇🏾 How do you, I'm good conscience, try to measure this up to the things Peter Obi says? God will surely take you

@tkwabena22 @Blue_Footy Again. For Enzo and Caicedo to move from Ok to a formidable pair. We need to rectify our defence. We need a good defence to cover Enzo's lapses in defence. The Premier League is now tougher. Why not ask yourself why Pep played O’REILLY left back as a defensive midfielder.
