Con Air (1997) is junk cinema in its purest form. Cage’s windblown mullet, that unhinged accent, villains chewing the scenery, explosions stacked on explosions. It knows exactly what it is and leans all the way in. Absolute crowd pleasing insanity.

However, it should be common sense that leaders in the catholic church, including the Pope, would have thoughts on the morality of an ongoing war.
