@Sissy_Carroll @DavidJHarrisJr How about that Easter tweet, huh?
English

My concern is only for the salvation of the lost. It's a remarkable thing to meet such hatred and opposition to such a simple message, yet no longer surprising. "Believe on Christ and be saved." There is one God and one mediator. All else is disruptive fluff. When we stand before His throne, none of this chatter will have any weight. No time left, to discuss and choose.
English

@RyanLaytart @jess_ann_pin Psalm 82 and Deuteronomy 32 do not refer to human/earthly authorities but rather spiritual ones (sons of god - benei Ha Elohim). Angel is also not a class of being rather it’s a job title, messenger.
English

@WhoDeyTko @jess_ann_pin Yes, gods, lower case... even referring to earthly authority, doomed to die. Usually referring to Elohim (angels) or fallen angels. There's no contradiction.
English

@RyanLaytart @jess_ann_pin We do not get to project our 21st century worldview onto scripture. In the original languages the Bible repeatedly makes references to the existence of other gods. See Psalm 82 and Deuteronomy 32.

@SpeedWatkins His plan for Salvation is the easiest possible plan. It merely requires humility. As Lucifer desired to be in God's place, so do we.
English

If God is perfectly good, He would desire to save everyone. If He is all-powerful, He would be able to do so. If both are true, everyone would be saved. Since not everyone is saved, either God lacks power, lacks goodness, or does not exist. Choose wisely.

Why doesn't God save everyone?

@RyanLaytart @jess_ann_pin I have a Muslim friend who says that I would absolutely positively be a Muslim if I read the Quran. So you can see the absurdity of the logic of proving the Bible is true by reading the Bible. It applies to everything and anything
English

The other "gods" in the bible were unresponsive, when challenged. Baal, Asherah, Molech, Dagon, Chemosh, etc. Human inventions to replace the undesirable true God. Despite their absurd beliefs, God still chose to respectfully acknowledge their creations, because how else do you communicate with such a people?
English

@RyanLaytart @jess_ann_pin @RyanLaytart you don’t even know your own scriptures. Other gods do exist, they were just created by Yawheh. What makes Him different and the only one that is uncreated. He is species unique. Read Unseen Realm by the late Dr. Michael Heiser.
English

@eeeeee7853 @jess_ann_pin Yes, because telling someone they need to pursue the truth for themselves is "shoving it down their throat". Try again.
English

@RyanLaytart @jess_ann_pin Religious people: lack basic reasoning skills; confused about reality.
Also religious people: "I've unlocked the secrets of the universe, and I'd like you to give me a moment so I can force them down your throat."

The "church" failed the saints. I haven't been to church since 2019.... but my walk is better than ever. If you recall: Paul described himself as the "chief of sinners", yet God called him to not only be an apostle, but he wrote a big chunk of the Bible. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." This is something I'm really trying to embrace, currently. You say that you keep sinning... it's kind of like knowing what food is good for us, but we keep eating the wrong stuff. That's the flesh, which is always at war with the spirit. Your flesh only wants pleasure and comfort. Start doing things that strengthen your inner discipline. Turn the water cold for as long as you can, every time you're in the shower. It's physiologicallly healthy, but it also helps build resilience. Try to fast. Play with shorter fasting windows, then push it longer. You'll start to gain control, slowly. Sins will begin to satisfy, less and less. ... and always remember, God says we'll be judged as we have judged others. He's literally telling us that we can be forgiven for all if we learn to forgive others. Forgiveness is a choice, yes, but true forgiveness is revealed in [action or the lack thereof]. When Jesus told the parable of the debtor, the Master forgave the servant of ALL, yet, the servant wouldn't forgive the person who owed him a small debt. The Master then threw him in prison, forever (hell). The last point I'll make is this: Jesus summed up the whole Old Testament as this: "Love the Lord your God with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself." You love yourself by following God's commands (work out your salvation with fear and trembling), and once you love yourself, you now know how to love your neighbor. Ecclesiastes 12:13: Let us hear the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commands, for the is the whole duty of man. - See you in eternity, sister.

@pawkyweasel @SuperSisi Diablo 1 and 2, Matt Eulmen. Jeremy Soule: Oblivion, Skyrim, Northerner diaries. Jasper Kyd, Assassins Creed. Collin O'Malley: Tomb Raider. Darren Korb: Bastion. ... Too many others, to mention.
English

@RyanLaytart @SuperSisi I really do think it's as close to nailing the vibe as we're going to get for a long time. All the pieces aligned.
English

@pawkyweasel @SuperSisi Halo 1 thru 3 had an amazing soundtrack.
English

@SuperSisi I’ve played a lot of games, dude, and I reckon that no game has a soundtrack that sets the tone quite like this one. Argue with your momma.

1) First biblical purpose: Salvation. Read Genesis, then the 4 gospels. --- Creation, guidelines, disobedience/fall, salvation. -- 2) Second biblical purpose: End-of-life littanus test: Love God, Love neighbor as self. The parable of sheep/goats: Did you help to alleviate sufferring in a world full of sufferring? -- 3) Ecclesiastes. 4) Proverbs 5) Whole Bible, front to back. 6) Check what you've read against your life and experience.

@DrEliDavid King David was taking about his own countrymen when he wrote that verse. Get a clue
English

@BBMagaMom I think about the same thing... but God also allows this. Imagine seeing it all, from His perspective.
English

@RyanLaytart So true. But it’s really discouraging to see that they’re continuing to rule over us, and commit these atrocities.

🚨Amid the chaos with Iran (proud of our strong response there!), let’s not forget the bombshell Epstein files dropping revelations left and right.
We can’t let wars distract us from holding the “elite” accountable at home.
By the way, they’re not “elite”…I freaking hate that term. They’re sleazy child-trafficking scumbags, perverted power-hoarding creeps, bloodsucking pedo-enablers, twisted island-hopping predators, and soul-rotting cover-up artists!
Stay vigilant on both fronts! 💪🇺🇸
