@mattyfred_ If the 10 minutes is actually 10 minutes, then do that. That way when you’re home you’re home and away from the hospital.
If it was a larger gap, like 10 vs 30, I might say pick the closer as a junior, then move farther as a senior if you like

Would it be better to live at a place 10 minutes from the hospital that I really like in a great neighborhood... or a place 1 minute from the hospital that is fine (and safe)?

@hassanfarooqMD Willingness to learn/accept criticism. Ability to work with a team. Attention to detail. Critical thinking skills. All things I would say trump suturing skills. You have 5 years to learn surgery in residency, but some things can’t be taught.

Does suturing proficiency matter as a sub-i? I, for one, was not the greatest. In my opinion, this whole process is more about the dedication and pursuit of constant improvement. What do you think #orthotwitter? Do you evaluate and judge students on their suturing abilities?
