Sad news for the Ethlizards (@LizLabsio) community, the takeover vote was blocked by a few whales holding a large number of Lizards. Their apparent endgame is to gain control of the funds and use them for themselves. It’s unfortunate, since most actual holders were looking forward to the takeover. I guess this marks the end of Ethlizards for me at least. The other takeover members and I were the only ones keeping it alive, we were even willing to do buybacks with our own money and take $0 from the treasury for our work. We already had a ton of ideas, but I guess some things just aren’t meant to be. Ethlizards has been a huge part of my crypto journey i probably had almost 100k messages in Ethlizards related channels and DMs. I’ll soon be posting a mega thread about them, but unfortunately, this seems to have sealed the fate of what used to be one of the best degen communities in Web3.
