Known as the 'Mexican Eagle', the Crested Caracara looks like a hawk, behaves like a vulture, and is actually a falcon. It lives predominantly in Central and South America (see map below) but is found in southern Texas. And we found it! 🥰🥰🥰 #Caracara #BirdsSeenIn2026

I’m not going to pretend I’m strong today.💔
We’re taking Napoleon to the vet because he isn’t well… and I’m scared. After losing Reddington, I don’t have the same armor anymore. Everything feels fragile. He feels fragile. I feel fragile.
If you can, please send healing prayers, light, strength , for him, and honestly… for me too. I’m trying not to fall apart before we even walk through that clinic door.
He is my heart.
And today my heart is trembling.

This week is a difficult week for me as it marks one year since Oreo passed away. Since that day (August 14th, 2024), there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him. I owe everything to Oreo. He is the reason all of this exists and he was my reason to begin creating in the first place. I was contacted a few weeks ago by @catster and they asked if I would like to do a memorial piece for the anniversary of his passing. Although it was not easy to write, I am glad that I did. Thank you to all of you here, for helping to keep his memory alive. I think he would be mighty proud of all of us.
