St. Louis City firefighters knocking down a fire that had broken out in an unoccupied home where the tornado had ripped through St. Louis 11 months ago. Crews on scene say the home was unoccupied and they were able to contain the fire without making entry. @kmoxnews

The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives have been able to confirm that there was never an abducted child from the 9800 block of New Hampshire Avenue in the Affton-Southwest Precinct. While we are extremely grateful that there is no child in danger, we want to be very clear - we will use all available resources to ensure our community members, especially the most vulnerable among us, are safe. Detectives are seeking charges against the two women involved in this hoax. Thank you to all our law enforcement partners, including the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and St. Charles City Police Department, who provided resources and tips for the search. The amber alert issued in Affton, MO this morning was a hoax @kmoxnews @kmoxmaria

We are still looking for 5-year-old Aleise Dawson. We do not have a photo of her; however, we have a description. Aleise is a black female with four ponytails and was last seen wearing a pink "Flower Power" t-shirt and blue shorts. She is described as 2 feet 6 inches tall and approximately 60 pounds. We have the Affton-Southwest Precinct Officers, the South County Precinct Officers, the Metro Air Unit, the Special Response Unit Officers, and the Division of Criminal Investigation working to locate Aleise. Anyone with information needs to call 911.
