Is it cringe to build the pre-rotation format (SVI-ASC) when you can buy all the cool Japanese staples for 2¢ each?

@SN0WEN Gholdengo Palkia is something I considered a lot since it would add a Stage 1 ex deck to the gauntlet, but I have been slightly more hesitant since building Palkia Water Box

Why am I now grinding ladder with Jelly Gardy? It literally leaves format in 1 month... >I did this last year with Blocklax, month long grind before it rotated.
