Tonight was a special night. The @SPFPD Firefighters Association took Christmas gifts to a local family that needed their spirits lifted this holiday season. #GivingBack

Today on and off duty @SPFPD personnel and the @ParkUniversity athletic department partnered for “welcome to 6th street” for student athletes of the 2024-2025 school year performing firefighter tasks like dummy drags, bucket brigade, hose drag, stokes carry and team building.

Partial power outage in downtown Parkville due to a motor vehicle accident involving several power poles. Partial road closures as well.

Always a thrill to put a new fire apparatus in service for the community and firefighters; and even more exciting to have the crews wanting to do it via a traditional way - pushing the unit back into quarters, even in the rain!!!
