Day 4 of The Great Dryer Crisis of 2026. First, it was functioning nominally but queeping an error code when the clothes were dry. I only looked up the code yesterday. It means a serious ground in the heater coil. So the house could have gone up in flames for the last 3 months. Today, I shall venture forth to the appliance store to inquire about a new dryer. Updates to follow. Send thoughts and prayers. (I almost typed thots and prayers.)
