@STEM_ROX At the bottom of the Tinkercad page is a Send us Feedback option. That will open a ticket. Please provide operating systems, versions, browsers tried, and ad blockers used.

@tinkercad what’s goin on with your servers?… student designs are freezing and needing to force refresh the browser tab. Also getting a lot of “node” errors… need to chat with someone. If you want high level usage, something’s gotta get better as it’s been an issue since Sept.

@tinkercad Unfortunately it’s happening with basic shapes… when students lock and unlock simple holes the screen freezes and they need to force a tab reload… I am also still having many issues with collaborative designs and the site crashing… is there a contact I can coordinate with?

@STEM_ROX Sorry for the delay. Is this happening to some designs or all? Some of the more complex shapes, such as those from the Shapes Generators section, can cause a design to have loading issues. One option is to Create Shapes to help simplify designs: tinkercad.com/blog/tinkertip…

@tinkercad What exactly would I be asking them to “look” at though? It doesn’t seem to be a bandwidth issue as it is t affecting everyone at the same time. It’s intermittent through the day

@STEM_ROX Sounds like this can happen in schools with so many students accessing Tinkercad at once (or using the internet in general). It's recommended you talk to IT and see if they can do anything to help with your network.

@tinkercad my students have been getting a ton of “disconnected” errors with their designs the last few days. Are you guys having server issues on your end? If not, what may be causing this and how can we rectify it?

@tinkercad Thanks for the reply.. yes it was still happening today… it was happening to multiple kids, some who worked collaboratively in pairs and others just as singles. Is there a tech support contact I could email? Maybe they can look at the specific account logs?

@STEM_ROX We did not see any issues. Did you continue to experience issues today? We many students collaborating at once?

@makerbot been having a ton of issues with my rep+ connecting to MakerBot Print… why are you support lines closed? Need answers ASAP. Things haven’t worked right since November when you hit the Authenticator kill switch

@adskFusion360 why is it so difficult to export an .stl from the web app?!

@GoogleForEdu you need to include a "lock" feature for assignments past their due date. too many students are turning in work after deadlines and resubmitting on their own.... I've requested this feature for over a year now.

@CanonUSAimaging Thanks... I am using Google Meet. I checked the settings and there is nothing for image mirroring though.

@STEM_ROX Hi! Image mirroring is usually an option within the livestreaming application that you're using. If you've carefully checked the app's menus and settings and haven't had any luck and you're also experiencing this in other apps, call us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) for help!

@CanonUSAimaging I am using a Rebel EOS T5i as a webcam to stream my class but the image is always mirrored. Is there a way to fix this?

@GovMurphy @Glennr1809 Thank you for being proactive and helping keep students, teachers, and our families safe. While not ideal, virtual instruction has been getting better and we are finding creative ways to still give effective instruction.

When my placement was cancelled due to lockdown, Uni gave us some tasks to do, one of these tasks was to design your ideal classroom, so I set myself the challenge of building a model based off my design!
