Unpopular opinion: Anonymously making an accusation against a public figure or anyone else is not courageous. Courage is showing your face and making the accusation.
You have a right to face your accuser in court. Outside of court, anyone can anonymously ruin your life.

My heart goes out to the women, who at great personal risk, shared their deeply disturbing stories of abuse at the hands of Rep. Swalwell. We cannot allow the normalization of the abuse of women by politicians to continue.
There must be accountability for those who misuse their positions of power. Individuals who engage in this kind of behavior have no place in leadership, in politics, or in the Democratic Party.
As a member of the DCCC Sexual Assault Committee, I believe we have a responsibility to set a clear standard. I condemn this alleged conduct and call on Rep. Swalwell to withdraw from the governor’s race and resign from Congress.
