Academic theorizing often over promises and doesn’t meet the actual needs of community. Play around with the technology if you want to learn about adversarial machine learning, but it is not a technology that should be relied on for safety.

Fawkes is a great example of interesting academic research on adversarial machine learning, but it will not keep you safe from facial recognition technologies.

Sex workers, advocates, and allies have been warning about the danger of incorrectly referring to things as trafficking. Now we're so far down the slippery slope that going to another state for an abortion is called "trafficking."
