This brief moment from The Clone Wars really just goes to show how insignificant Palpatine’s apprentices were to him concerning his overall plan to control the galaxy. Even Maul returning and making himself known within the galaxy a decade later never once actually disrupted Sidious’ ultimate goal. Honestly hilarious how quickly Palpatine dismisses him as a threat in front of The Jedi here.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series genuinely had some amazing action sequences, even outside of Kenobi’s rematches with Darth Vader. I know that the handheld camera wasn’t a stylistic choice that worked for everyone, but I really felt like it added a lot to the series as a whole.

I’ve always loved how esignificant this conversation that Ahsoka and Obi-Wan have in the final few episodes of The Clone Wars ultimately ends up being. Hearing Sidious’ name becoming more prevalent, and realizing that Anakin defeating Dooku on the Inivisible Hand also severed a crucial link in The Jedi understanding his ultimate plan, is just as heartbreaking as it is outright eerie. This small moment honestly adds such a complex layer and to the opening of Revenge of the Sith. A prime example of what retroactive storytelling can accomplish when used effectively.
