some of the most valuable advice I received as an investor is that "its not about you" - if a VC speaks about themselves all the time - be wary

+ my personal bias, that the self congratulatory/ speaking for the sake of speaking culture is v prolific in the VC community - not value additive + makes you seem disingenuous as a person

As a third culture kid, I struggle with the personal brand thing. It was a long journey to get comfortable not fitting into one box, only to be told to figure out which one I need to get back into 😅

Diversity is no longer just a “nice-to-have” in the workplace; it is a proven driver of performance and is married to inclusion. Having diversity w/o inclusion leads to a revolving door of talent - people will work for you but if they feel like outsiders, it’s unlikely they stay.

Attracting and retaining talent is the WHOLE game. There is not ONE founder I have met in the region that this is not an issue for. Why aren't we talking about building a corporate culture early thats focused on your team being able to build their own dreams?
