It took us 3 yrs plus with bribe to facilitate the death benefit. The money they gave was small... very small.

They didn't even allow us to stay to recieve my dad's death benefit, my mum felt so pained that she didn't carry any of my father's military items when we moved out. Life was hard afterward, we all dropped out of sch, i was barely in SS1 then

They will quit them without even payin the death benefit yet. It cud take more than 2 yrs to claim the death benefit, u might even ve to bribe to facilitate the process and at the end the money been paid as death benefit is chicken change- personal experience

@Saintpolikarp This is not even the issue but the fact that the government wouldn’t be responsible for them anymore 🤦‍♀️ At least if you’re saying the barracks is only for soldiers in service, get them a house or a substantial compensation for them to provide basic things for themselves?

As u said it depends on Brigade Commander, he will his good heart, power and discretion to be kind or help the deceased family. That's purely exceptional case

@Saintpolikarp @Wizarab10 Depends on the CO or Commandant of the barrack. I've seen families stay in barracks for over a year after the father's death until benefits are paid. I've also seen wives of ex-service men employed as civilian staff and given accommodation.

Not even enough. And it could take more than 3 years to claim the death benefits sef. Meanwhile u will have to quit from the barracks 😪

@Saintpolikarp My only problem; “is the pay packages enough to resettle the bereaved family?” If not then that’s my problem! I still frown at the “idiotic salary & labour structures” in this country. We used to have “focused commissions” taking care of the workforce. Nowadays country agwụla🙄

In Taiwan the Govt created a Lottery then developed a system where Every receipt in the country became a Lottery ticket. No Matter what you Bought, as long as you collected your receipt it had a Number attached to it that was Liable to win you Millions of Taiwanese Dollars. It is called the UNIFORM INVOICE LOTTERY and It was designed to stop businesses from hiding Income and Dodging Taxes. Every single citizen unknowingly became National Auditors bcos Everybody Requested their Receipts believing it might win the lottery. Rather than their Govt to waste money Chasing Fraud they created a Scheme that Incentivized Honesty. Turning everyday life in Taiwan into a Lottery. Buying anything and getting Your receipt could make you a millionaire but it ensured the Govt could check Company books easier & deter Tax Fraud. Win Win. #IntelligentGovernance

Honest question. How much time do you spend Googling "fully funded Master's or PhD scholarships" and ending up more confused than when you started?

Will it be right to say... may your children be as dull as Governor Monday?
Axel Pro@AxelPro47687794

@DanielRegha Please English is not our mother tongue. So let's not use it to diminish his human person. Where has English language taken us to in this country? Let's bear with him. He is prone to make mistakes like every other human being. Let him breathe abeg.

@Peace_Makarr “the system will take care of the kids and their future. All they need to do is just do the right thing and everything will be fine.” The above👆🏿though. Is it an imagination or is it a reality 🤔

Genuine worshippers indeed. It was when i travelled out, I realised 90% of the prayers and religious activities in church/ mosque in Nigeria is petitions and lamentation. No sincere worship and worshippers. And the saddest part is some kind prayers they pray.
barlinbuchi🇳🇬🇨🇦@BWechem

@Peace_Makarr I told my wife that if Nigeria is a system that works churches and mosque will be sort of empty or has genuine worshipers ,how can someone working be praying for a car 😂 no nah .

Are you saying because he has videos of women from other nations or race what he did is normal?
Lucius@antoniocory1

@walegates He literally has videos on his social media where he approaches women from different races and countries. Only you African men are turning it into a racial issue.
