🚨 do you understand what this actually means.. the US and Israel spent the last month destroying Iran's missile launchers.. its drone factories.. its defense industrial base.. ISW confirmed the strikes targeted Iran's ability to rebuild.. not just what it had.. now Trump signs a two-week ceasefire.. and immediately says any country that helps Iran rearm gets 50% tariffs.. this is a siege.. he's not giving Iran two weeks of peace.. he's giving Iran two weeks where it can't fight back AND can't resupply.. so when the talks start on Friday in Islamabad.. Iran walks in with empty hands.. you don't sign a peace deal and then block the other side from rearming unless you already know the deal is temporary.. the ceasefire isn't the end of the war.. it's the part where you make sure the other side can't start the next one

This statement changes nothing. The President has threatened a genocide against the Iranian people, and is continuing to leverage that threat. He has launched a massive war of enormous risk and of catastrophic consequence without reason, rationale, nor Congressional authorization - which is as clear a violation of the Constitution as any. Each day this goes on, the risk and criminality of these actions escalate for our nation and the world. Moreover, this administration’s self enrichment, insider trading, and pure corruption off this chaos - from crypto currencies to predictive trading markets to bribe “settlements” - has placed the Trump administration’s pursuit of personal wealth squarely against the wellbeing of our nation and its people. All of these incidents, and plenty more, have clearly driven our country past the threshold for impeachment or invocation of the 25th amendment. We cannot risk the world nor the wellbeing of our nation any longer. None of these considerations should be partisan, but shared in good faith by Americans of all backgrounds who care for the safety and stability of the United States. Whether by his Cabinet or Congress, the President must be removed from office. We are playing with the brink.

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this. Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people. We must all stand against this and oppose funding this illegal war of choice.
