I had a long chat with a Quins fan at the Stoop a few weeks ago about just this.
FWIW, I agree, it needs to be done, but the sport will struggle; it is not set up to celebrate individuals. Major mindshift within the sport needed to do this.

@SamRobertsComms Thanks Sam. But disappointed with my first outing in Paris but think I took stock and recovered well from that setback. The below seemed to really annoy the French them so I’m going to double down and learn French before next season. Looks like a pretty simple language.
