No member of Congress should go home or get paid until DHS is funded and the government is open. Taking a break while American workers are unpaid is a totally entitled, inexcusable low.

I waited nearly 3.5 hours in a TSA line—and *still* almost missed my flight. The ability to get home shouldn’t depend on whether Congress does its job. Why are we still tolerating this? Nothing has made a better case for abolishing the TSA than this shutdown. I wrote about it:

@TrumpDailyPosts This is a cultural issue. I don’t know how politics can fix this. It has to start with members of the community, members of the church. Unfortunately, many of those people don’t want to address the causes of this. They want to deflect and blame someone else.

People don’t call it the “Frankenstein coalition” for nothing, the guy formed a government with parties that have nothing to do with his party’s principles just to stay in power for four more years. They are losing in all the polls for the next election because most of their voters are unhappy with the coalition that was formed, and many are disappointed with those parties in general. So I wouldn’t say they voted for any of this

They didn’t, the PP won the election. The PSOE formed governing coalitions with several regional pro-independence parties (some of them even considered “far-right”) in order to stay in power. You can look at the results of the recent regional elections in Castilla y León and Aragón, you’ll see that Podemos didn’t gain representation because it only got 0.3%. Alvise’s party, which is considered a meme in Spain, got twice as many votes as them
