Can I be real with you guys for a second? This week, I’ve had genuinely the worst week I think I’ve ever had whilst on this crazy ride we call life. One of the days, I genuinely didn’t see a way back for myself, or any hope at all. I’m still not there 100%, these deep scars aren’t fixed overnight. I have a long way to go, I’ve started therapy which has been so good for me. I’m surrounded by incredible, loving people. I am so, so lucky. Today, that result, that performance, was EXACTLY what the doctor ordered. So, here’s to you @OfficialBHAFC, through the hard times and the good. I love this club so much. 💙 #BHAFC 🔵⚪️

@Boobaloosh That's enormously sad. A - because you felt so bad, and B - because of how they treated, or rather didn't treat you. Do you have a named support worker? I have phoned the @samaritans several times and found them to be excellent.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, I took myself to the local hospital because I was concerned about how bad my mental health was. I waited 3 hours in an empty waiting area, I was seen by a Mental health practitioner, she spent 5 minutes with me and told me to make an appointment to see my GP!! The value of life is dependent on affordability, paying for it privately gives you a fighting chance.

I cannot thank the @samaritans enough, with how much they helped me this evening. I reached breaking point and as well as emailing them, I also had the courage to phone them again this evening. Just speaking to someone at the other end of the phone, I knew I wasn’t alone 💚

A simple conversation could help save someone’s life. If you spot someone who doesn’t look OK. Small, soft questions can be a gentle way in - they interrupt the cycle of thoughts and help someone shift a little inside and engage with the world outside of their thoughts

I'm just out for a walk and a complete bonny stranger asked me how I was. Normally I say I'm okay. I broke down 💔😥 I got a hug and I cried properly for the first time since my friends passing. I needed that. @samaritans thank you for all that your teams do. #vss365 #bonny

Just phoned @samaritans as feeling really low with my MH. I was able to say how I felt and what thoughts I was having and I don’t normally make phone calls to them, so picking up the phone to call them, was a very big step for me. I was not alone. A big thank you @samaritans 💚
