I should say US citizens, not everyone. Immigrants who have not naturalized have certainly lost rights under Trump, and that is a good example.

@IndianFur @vilcinsky Median income is definitely an important metric. Being able to afford more things makes life better. But also other metrics, like crime, have improved. And absent something crazy like threatening to do a terrorist attack, there is no limit to what people can say about Israel/etc.

I do agree life has gotten better in China, but i struggle to see where the US has improved? It’s consistently gotten worse since the 90s, median income is not a good metric of improvement

And life has in fact gotten vastly better in both the US and China. Real median income is significantly higher than ever.
