@DrNeilStone I've had 5 of them. I guess I'm officially preterminal, I've got about 30 years to live barring an accident. Family history suggests 40 years, but who really knows?

I actually don’t doubt this. I often respond harshly to people who not only criticize my food, but also my followers’ (and others) food, and I’ll tell you why. I cook at least 2 meals for multiple people almost everyday. I put my knowledge, experience, heart, and sweat into every dish. Many days I can barely stand, because of my spine injury. Some days, T1D won’t give me a 2-hour reprieve. Whereas you may have eaten a burger before, my goal is to make you the best damn burger you’ve ever had. So when some troll wanders onto my feed to insult my passion, yes, it pisses me off. Do you have a passion for anything at all? How would you feel if I shit all over it for no other reason than because I felt like insulting someone? 🤨

I need advice. My wife is really good friends with a girl from work and come to find out she is MAGA. They’ve been hanging out a bit which is fine, but now I'm being asked to go out on double-dates with her hubs and I'm not hanging out with fucking MAGA. Am I being unreasonable?

BREAKING🚨: The Artemis II astronauts will go through the most tense moment of the mission on April 6, 2026. This is the highlight of the entire mission. The Orion will pass between 6,400 and 9,600 kilometers above the lunar surface. But there's a detail that makes this moment even more intense: as it passes over the far side of the Moon, the spacecraft will lose communication with Earth for about 30 to 50 minutes, blocked by the Moon itself. "For the 45 minutes when we'll be closest to the lunar surface, we'll also be out of contact," said Victor Glover, the mission's pilot. "I'd love for the whole world to be cheering and praying for us to reestablish the signal." During that time, the astronauts will photograph and observe regions of the Moon's far side that have never been seen by human eyes. The crew will also attempt to capture new images of the so-called Earthrise, the planet emerging over the desolate lunar surface.

Something last night reminded me what the old America felt like. PBS coverage of Artemis II. Young families from across the country gathered to watch a launch. An American flag next to the Artemis flag on the pad. A diverse crew of experts from across the world who spent their lives preparing for this. No Trump. No Vance. No Mike Johnson. No demagogues calling the astronauts DEI hires or blaming the other party for something. Just people being patriotic, happy, together, inspired. Gathered to watch America do something historic yet again. It reminded me of America before this moment. A snapshot of America at its best. And it reminded me that despite the moral ugliness we wade through every day, we're still that country underneath it all. We're just being led by people who want us to forget it.

Something shifted in the last 24 hours. Most people won't realize until it's too late. I've been watching the DOJ closely for months. Here's what I'm seeing: Career prosecutors in the building have been telling anyone who'll listen — Bondi was losing grip. The Epstein files situation became unmanageable. Congressional subpoenas were piling up. Internal morale was gone. A person I know — senior level at a federal agency — told me last week: "It's not about whether she gets fired. It's about what happens to the files after she's gone." That's when I knew this was coming. Todd Blanche is now Acting AG. He's not a career DOJ official. He's Trump's former personal criminal defense lawyer. He now controls what gets released. What gets investigated. Who gets prosecuted. The Epstein subpoena is still active. Bondi is heading to Florida. The 98% of files that were never released are now under new management. Nobody in DC is talking about this on the record. But everyone is talking about it off the record. Bookmark this. Come back in 30 days.

@tmobrien2 @JamesTate121 It does come in IV form. It's an effective antidote for cyanide and carbon monoxide poisoning,.and also treats methhemoglobinemia. I've only seen that a couple times. Blood literally looks like chocolate syrup.

RFK Jr. is out here chugging methylene blue like it’s a morning green juice. It’s a bold choice, but let’s look at the actual chemistry of that decision because it’s terrifying. Methylene blue is a potent MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitor). This is the exact class of antidepressants that psychiatrists stopped prescribing years ago because they were too unpredictable and dangerous. It essentially breaks the "off switch" for your neurotransmitters, leaving your brain flooded with serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. The clinical profile for that kind of chemical buildup? Grandiosity, pressured speech, a reduced need for sleep, and a massive spike in risk-taking. Sound like anyone currently trying to overhaul health policy for 330 million people? It gets worse, though. MB also shuts down nitric oxide synthase and guanylate cyclase. In plain English: it kills the NO-cGMP pathway. That is the exact mechanism your body uses to dilate blood vessels so blood can actually reach your muscles and organs. You know what else relies on that pathway? Erections. It is, quite literally, the pharmacological inverse of Viagra. The man is voluntarily strangling his own circulation. So, the guy leading the "Make America Healthy Again" movement is walking around with a brain full of unregulated antidepressants and a body fighting its own blood flow; all while deciding what the rest of us are allowed to put in our bodies. None of this is a conspiracy theory. It isn't hidden. It’s right there in PubMed and every basic pharmacology textbook on the planet. It’s a package insert. Maybe the next Health Secretary should try reading one.

I know it's been 40 years and some of you were still sperm in your father, but all y'all screeching NO KIDS WATCHED THE CHALLENGER EXPLOSION are not only stupid, you're pig ignorant. 1) A teacher was on board as an astronaut 2) Lot of teachers wheeled TVs into their classrooms so that kids could watch a teacher fly into space. 3) Those kids saw the Challenger explode One of the worst videos I saw was of Christa McAuliffe's (the teacher in question) classroom -with a sub teacher- watching the video as the Challenger exploded.

This is the shot you can’t get from the press site. This camera was sitting a few football fields from the SLS rocket at Pad 39B for days before launch, baking in the Florida sun, surviving rain, humidity, and whatever else the Cape threw at it. No photographer behind the viewfinder. Just a camera, a sound trigger, and a bet. The way pad remotes work: you set your camera up days in advance, dial in your composition, lock everything down, and walk away. You don’t touch it again until after the launch. The shutter fires on sound activation with a @MiopsTrigger smart+ trigger. With SLS, the four RS-25 engines ignite six seconds before the solid rocket boosters, so the camera is already firing before the vehicle even leaves the pad. You get home, pull the card, and find out if you nailed it or if a bird landed on your lens two days ago and left your a present and you got 400 photos of soemthing crappy. There’s no formula for protecting your gear this close. Some photographers build wooden boxes with doors that pop open. Some use plastic bags and tape. Some do plastic or metal barn door rigs on hinges. I tend to leave mine open just in plastic rain covers because boxes limit my composition and setup time, but that means your cameras are more exposed to the elements and whatever energy and debris comes off the pad. You’re basically gambling a camera body every time you set one. That’s what I love about this genre. There’s no playbook. You make it up as you go. Every time is an adventure. 📸 credit: me for @SuperclusterHQ - Artemis II pad remote | ~1,000 ft from Pad 39B | Kennedy Space Center
