I love April Fool's Day but a big part of the reason people seem to be growing tired of it is due to corpos announcing fake things that people actually want. > "Hey look it's a sequel to a game you wanted" > Fake The point is parody and satire, not just disappointment

The main problem with this movie in general is that, it shouldn’t be a mario galaxy movie, because it doesn’t feel like it at all

@Jeff_like_Feff I think the best way to describe it is to remove all context that it's a sequel to another movie. Go back to 2007 and ask yourself "if they made a movie version of Super Mario Galaxy, what would it be like?" Whatever answer you have, you're probably not going to find it here.

Man it must be pretty bad to be scoring this low I guess? People who have seen it, what happened? I still haven't yet (without spoilers), is it just cut weirdly? Zero story? What happened?

The Super Mario Super Show has started airing on MEtv using some kind of AI upscaling ,and the results are as good as you'd expect

A SM64 GBA port sounds really impressive but conceptually I kinda think it would be cooler if it was made into an isometric faux-3D platformer using pre-rendered sprites and textures, as was the style at the time.
