Bringing mathematical thinking to all things Seattle Seahawks. Results are retrospective; process-based analysis is more predictive of future outcomes.

Connor was all over Zabel to Seattle in the first round last year while the fans spent all off-season wringing their hands about the offensive line. Would not be surprised if Schneider jumps at this opportunity.
SleeperNFL@SleeperNFL

.@ConnorJRogers sees Seattle using their 1st-round pick on RB Jadarian Price. "They let Kenneth Walker walk and haven't been overly aggressive to replace him. Price can be a star at the next level. He's got an NFL body, breakaway speed, and an untapped ceiling as a receiver."

"Probably the most unique OC in the NFL and nobody's talking about it." Brian Fleury spent 17 years coaching defense before ever touching an offensive playbook. He was a Defensive Coordinator. He coached linebackers. He studied coverages for a living. In 2020 at age 41, he flipped to offense under Shanahan. Six years later, he's Seattle's OC. Now pair that with Mike Macdonald, the most dominant defensive HC in the league. These two don't just share a building. They share a language. When Fleury designs a play, he already knows what the defense is thinking. When Macdonald watches film, he already knows what Fleury is trying to attack. Add Daniel Stern, 10 years of game management, situational football and opponent analysis from Baltimore. This isn't just an offensive staff. This is a defense that learned to speak offense. "Fast, violent, and aggressive in every way possible." Fleury's own words. That's not an offensive coordinator talking. That's a defender who learned to attack. John Schneider basically telling the fans “relax we’ll be fine at running back” in very similar fashion to his sentiments about the offensive line last year, which he was frequently asked about.
Seattle Sports@SeattleSports

"That's a position where you can find guys...but George [Holani] did a great job and we're really excited about Emmanuel Wilson...We know where we're at right now." #Seahawks GM John Schneider breaks down where Seattle's running back room sits at this point in the offseason on with @WymanAndBob.

Best yards/snap in man coverage among drafted CBs since 2019, min 250 snaps (PFF). Decent names relative to draft capital. Muhammad and Igbinosun both projected third round

I Don’t Watch Film (Football Analytics)
There are different type of analytics and i think people often lump them all together under one umbrella. My focus is analyzing on a prospect level. Positional value, team build, game theory, etc. is a completely different lane. A scout’s job isn’t to tell the team who to draft or how to weigh positional value or how to construct a roster. Their job is to tell you about a prospect as in-depth as possible. It’s the GM’s job to worry about the more granular stuff. As far as Tate vs Love, there’s a lot of factors to consider. Obviously I think everyone agrees elite WR > elite RB But imo, Elite RB > Good WR. With the Giants, it gets a bit muddy because they have a good (but questionable) RB room, elite WR1, average depth beyond Nabers at WR. Lions are a great example. Who’s more important to their offense, Jahmyr Gibbs or Jameson Williams? We can argue all day if we think Tate could be better than Jamo is, but the reality is he isn’t a better prospect than Jamo was coming out of college, even coming off a torn ACL. For arguments sake, let’s say Tate is as good as Jameson Williams or maybe a Tee Higgins, George Pickens. Would that player be more beneficial to the Giants’ offense than Love with the assumption he’s on the same level as Gibbs or Bijan? I think it’s a fair argument either way. But then you have to factor in how likely is it for each individual player to hit that ceiling. I think it’s more likely Love becomes a top 3 RB than it is for Tate to become a Top-24 receiver. So we can make an argument if we’d rather have a Top-24 WR as our WR2 or a Top-3 RB. But we have to also factor in how likely it is for each player to hit that mark.
A.B. (Tisch Out)@FantasyKash

Not saying you’re wrong cuz a lot of people smarter than me have said it but definitely surprised to see an analytics account advocate for Love before Tate

NFL Draft thought experiment: Both of these OG prospects are 24 years old - They are both available to compete to be the #Seahawks 2026 RG if they so wish. Based on athletic profile, which one would you prefer?

I would also like to take time to express how genuinely grateful I am to everyone who has taken time from their days to consume the content I’ve created. An incredible amount of work, effort, failures, mistakes, missteps, and time has allowed me to create content around a passion project i’ve been working on for years and share it with others. I remember the moments when I first reached 10 followers, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, etc. I was so genuinely happy that a group of people that share the same interest and passion for football enjoyed the content I create enough to hit that “Follow” button. And to this day, each new follow brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart. We’re all on this earth for a very short period of time. Specks of moments in a sea of time. I think it’s pretty cool so many of us have so many shared experiences. “We may not know it but, in a way, we already know our future. We may not know the specific events that will happen to us, but we know with absolute certainty that someday we will die. We know that along the way there will be sorrow and pain. There will be moments when life seems overwhelming and impossible to endure, when we will suffer deeply. But there is also beauty and love, tiny and large moments when life feels perfect and beautiful” “Time can be fleeting and so can happiness. We should encourage ourselves and others to embrace the human living experience.” Words cannot express how grateful I am. Thank you all so much.

I would like to take this opportunity to do a ‼️giveaway‼️ for the FULL Post-Combine, 60-prospect wide receiver analytical prospect guide i’ve worked very hard on. All I ask is that you: - Follow - Like - Repost or leave a comment Thanks so much to everyone who has shown love and support. I appreciate it immensely. I hope this helps you all prepare for the 2026 NFL Draft #NFLDraft

cmon man what’s up with some of y’all? Take a discount on his first chance and maybe only chance to get paid? but also why can’t we just be happy he helped deliver another SB to the city and everyone can’t get paid from the Seahawks?
HawkMania@hawkmania4

I kind of thought #Bears Coby Bryant would at least take a coaches discount because HC Mike Macdonald moved him from CB to S. Macdonald, basically to me, saved his career because if Bryant stayed at CB, I think he wouldn't be a starter or paid this much. So thank you, HC Mike Macdonald for saving his career so that Coby Bryant can get paid to play for the bears, I guess.
