The Mets are currently 9 games under .500. If they can go 6-4 in each 10 game stretch over the next 40 games, they’ll be just 1 game under .500 by mid June. That’s very doable. And if they play a little better than .600 in any stretch of 10 games or string together a solid winning streak, they can get there even sooner. It’s a slow climb, but .500 is the immediate goal. Reach it, get healthy, and then we can talk about what this club really needs to make a serious run. That’s the mindset. #LGM
