@toadricetsu I dare not tell others, either. As soon as they find out, we’ll be dismissed as “good-for-nothing weeping beings.” So desperate for warmth, yet forced to stand in the bitter. Longing to forget the gone-by, yet unable to find a true sunlight. No one gets how much I’ve been hurt.
English

@toadricetsu It feels like so many real-life relatives, and educators would label them “good-for-nothing whiners…”
She’s fortunate not to have encountered such relatives, or educators…
There’s forever perceiving of fulfilling the earth’s pain-filled embrace with a returnable joyful praise.
English

@kamdaphne1 @toadricetsu Suppose you’re a native Mandarin speaker, rock a mandarin orange on your dome: no cap, the move it is.
Word’s a double whammy: fluent tongue, also rep the fruit. Don’t front, balance it, accept it. Flex for any Mandarin speaker: keep it to be fresh, and never make it to be slip.
English

@toadricetsu Peak drawing! Tho if I did carry an orange on my head I’d probably drop it too easily 😂

A blue-moon occurrence. #Doraemon
Perhaps u could buy Chinese tamales online. Wish u a happy Online Shopping & a healthful (not ‘happy’) Double 5th.

English

Chinese tamales start in-shops. Signal approaches of the Double 5th Festival (the 5th of the 5th Sinosphere Lunisolar month, 19th June in 2026) in 🇨🇳China, 🇰🇷Korea, 🇻🇳Vietnam, 🇸🇬Singapore. #Doraemon
Folk holds it remembering a poet, Qu Yuan, the author of ‘Encountering Sorrow’.

English

@toadricetsu Not a “new-found phenomenon” anymore.
China Central TV from the Chinese mainland covered a 🇹🇭Thai Buddhist temple using #Doraemon to pray for rain as early as 2013, and even a Doraemon fan site from Taiwan also mentioned it in 2011. They’re both more than a decade ago.
English

@toadricetsu Tough to tell…
I don’t feel u’r slow-witted, or prank-prone as #Nobita, nor do I earn the idea u’r quick-witted as #Dekisugi (Neither of u or me’d figured out on our occupy #Suneo’s born on Feb 18, as shown in “STAND BY ME #Doraemon.”)
On-top, I’m not well-versed in “Peanuts…”
English

What character do you associate with me?

Naru Koizumi (Old Account got Hacked)@MahiruYuuki
What character do you associate with me?
English

@toadricetsu Could it be u like Snoopy from “Peanuts,” and Shiro from “Crayon Shin-chan” precisely ’cause 2018 (the Zodiac Year of the Dog) worked out so positively for u?
Also, have u told ur in-laws u don’t eat any canines, and urged them to stop trying to get you to eat meat from ’em?

@RyanRaiPersonal @toadricetsu @NotRealDoraemon Chinese donuts are salty, long & thin, deep-fried till outer layers are crusty while the filling maintains a pillow-like softness & toothsome chew.
A popular folk legend claims they were inspired by Qin Hui, the treacherous minister of China’s ancient.

English

@Sewashiemon @toadricetsu Oh my gosh, thank vou for being the verv first person to respond to me on X (in what feels like forever) who isn't myself or my parody account @NotRealDoraemon! And to answer your question, no. I haven't tried Chinese donuts before. What do they taste like? I'm curious.
English

@RyanRaiPersonal @toadricetsu Speaking of donuts… Have you ever tried Chinese donuts?
Western donuts are sweet, yet Chinese donuts are savory (salted), the dough undergoes almost no fermentation.
Notably: Some cooks may add a small amount of alum (with aluminum residue ≤100mg/kg) as dough-leavening agent.
English

@toadricetsu @piperocktheory However, some people in Chinese southwest’s mountains might not perceive Peanuts or Doraemon, amusing they rely only on cable TV, or local bookstores, not the Internet, or outside stores. Though a tiny minority, their areas’re underdeveloped. Some cities lack even a McDonald’s.
English

@piperocktheory From what I’ve seen, Peanuts is crazy popular in Japan, and it also has a lot of merch in China, Korea, Thailand, and probably more countries
English

Asian taste in Western animation being exclusively Tom and Jerry, Wacky Races, the bad guy from Toy Story 3 taken out of context, and Bobby from King of the Hill is really funny

@NobitaNotFake Nobita, I wonder the reason absolutely everyone misunderstands u as being myopic… U’r distinctly hyperopic.
In the comic of “Dinosaur Hunter,” ur glasses successfully refract rays.
Only hyperopic ones can do that, myopic ones r utterly incapable of it.

In ‘#Doraemon’, #Nobita is portrayed as hyperopic, not myopic. On the Page 180, Vol 2 (‘Dinosaur Hunter’), Nobita uses his glasses refract rays. Only hyperopic glasses can do that, never myopic ones. Fujiko is very rigorous, no way he wouldn’t be familiar with this basic sense.
