I saw someone say “Cavill’s Superman looks like someone who’s already saved the world. David’s Superman looks like someone who’s about to” and that was the best analysis I’ve ever seen.
Almost everything about The Snyder Cut is superior to what we got in theaters. But this film is also tainted because of its vile fanbase and out of touch director.

nothing in superman could ever be as laughably embarrassing as the heavy handed jesus imagery that was in man of steel. i vividly remember people laughing at this because the tone in man of steel is dead serious while the goofiest psudeo intellectualism is thrown on the screen
