Gave @Fanbasedotcom 600 seconds of pure research, here’s what they’re doing right and the gaps their Strategy Lead won't want them to see. Welcome to Audit Issue #1 (Strategy under 600 seconds). Who Is Fanbase Fanbase is a creator-focused crypto platform designed to be a “playground” where anyone can earn and receive tips in SOL, ETH, Base ETH, and soon, their native token $FAN. ➝ Their mission is to empower creators with simple, frictionless monetization. ➝ Their target audience: creators looking for direct earning opportunities. ➝ The idea is strong, the product is real, but the story isn’t there yet. What Fanbase Is Doing Right Flowers first because the effort shows. → They’re actively promoting the platform → They’re onboarding new creators and users consistently → Tipping works seamlessly across multiple chains → They run solid engagement incentives (GMs, giveaways, creator pushes) → They’re building, they’re shipping, but their strategy needs to catch up. The Gaps Fanbase Needs to Fix: 1. No Clear Strategic Positioning There is no narrative explaining why Fanbase exists, who they’re for, or what makes them different. ➝ People are using the platform, but they’re not connected to the mission. 2. Silence Around the $FAN Token Token drops in Q1, but absolutely no storytelling, previews, or mechanics have been shared. ➝This is a wasted hype window. 3. No Community Infrastructure Right now, Fanbase has: → no believers community → no creator hub → no Discord → no feedback loop → no culture-building mechanism ➝ A creator ecosystem without community = incomplete. 4. Weak Pinned Post The pinned post talks about tipping limits. → It should discuss the vision, mission, and creator movement they aim to lead. 5. No Points or Leaderboard System Before a token launch, you MUST: → introduce points → create leaderboards → reward creator activity → incentivize referrals → build weekly progression loops ➝ This is how you build obsession and pre-token momentum. My Fix & Recommendations A. Build a Strong Content Strategy Fanbase needs a clear narrative around: →who they are → why they exist → what they’re building → how creators benefit → weekly updates → pre-token expectations Creators don’t follow features; they follow stories. B. Activate Points + Leaderboards Now Launch XP systems for: → tipping → creating → referring → daily activity → engagement streaks This preps the community before $FAN goes live. C. Build in Public (Loudly) → Every update is content. → Show progress. → Show the journey. → Show creator success. People support what they feel included in. D. Create Two Communities Believers Community → memes, culture, early supporters, evangelists User Community → creators, questions, support, onboarding, updates This drives loyalty + retention. E. Fix the Pinned Post Immediately → Pin your mission, not your limits. → First impression = everything. See you on the next one.
