🚨⚠️ NEWPORT PAEDOPHILE AVOIDS PRISON - MAKE HIM FAMOUS & KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM HIM
CHRISTIAN MORSE, 52. NEWPORT
A convicted paedophile has avoided jail after he breached two court orders monitoring his behaviour and movements.
Christian Morse, 52, from Newport was locked up for five years in 2016 after he was found guilty of grooming and sexually abusing an underage teenage girl.
He was convicted by a jury following a trial of sexual activity with a child under 16 and inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity.
As a result, the defendant was ordered to register as a sex offender and made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for an indefinite period.
Morse was in breach of both orders between April 1, 2024 and October 11, 2025, Hannah Head, prosecuting, said.
She told Cardiff Crown Court the offending had been “deliberate and persistent”.
It was revealed he stayed at his new partner’s home for more than 20 days when he were prohibited from doing so and had unsupervised contact with a child under the age of 16.
He had also gone on a caravan holiday after he had “failed to notify the police of an address where he had resided or stayed for seven days or longer in a 12-month period”.
The defendant admitted the breaches.
Morse’s barrister Julia Cox said that her client was self-employed and earns around £1,000 a week.
Morse was jailed for 20 months but the sentence was suspended for 21 months.
The defendant must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and complete a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
He will also have to pay a £187 victim surcharge as well as £150 costs.
