@khing_fundz @iamAbiodunAA I know it's gone but as a fan, you won't stop imagining what could have been. And it's not even about the injury. It's how he picked it up. So unnecessary.

@Shile_02 @iamAbiodunAA Abeg he don do jare why are you even behaving player doesn’t get injured in training
English

@grema_idriss @iamAbiodunAA Even Messi and Ronaldo sometimes tuned it down a bit in their primes. There are games they looked out of place.
English

@grema_idriss @iamAbiodunAA Definitely. Dembouz has always been poised to be great. That came with the sense of management to him. Rapha on the other hand has had just one good season with Hansi's emergence. You can see he still feels insecure about his status whenever he plays.

@MrWills96 This news isn't a good one. Knowing the kind of person Laporta is, i won't be surprised if any of the players you highlighted leaves.
English

Definitely not Lamine, not pedri, not Frankie, not Gavi, not Raphinha, not Cubarsi and not Lopez. Any other person I’ll manage if at all it will help the club 🥹

@urtrollingright @0m0lara Firstly, like Kompany himself said after the match. “There's no in-between in these types of matches. It doesn't work”. The only way anything would stand a chance is deciding to NOT SCORE. At all. But to have it both ways? Not against attacks of that quality. Even Madrid tried.

❗️🗣️POV: Let me just say something. Honestly, I’m not trying to disagree for the sake of showing off football knowledge or acting like I know more than anyone else. First of all, the match itself was very entertaining.
That said, one small observation: Paris Saint-Germain scored 5 goals from just 5 big chances (xG: 1.91), while Bayern Munich scored 4 goals from 8 big chances (xG: 2.51).
Now compare that to Barcelona against Atlético Madrid. In the first leg alone, we created 9 big chances despite going down to ten men in the 42nd minute. In the second leg, we created another 7. That’s a total of 16 big chances across both legs, yet we only scored 2 goals from an xG of 3.32. It’s almost unbelievable.
Hansi Flick has simply been very unlucky.

English

@BouafifNour Nailed it man. Bastoni's transfer fee should be used for an elite potent forward. I believe we can secure a defender that'll bring leadership with a free transfer.
English

Did PSG defend well? Not really. They were exposed, conceded multiple big chances at home, and even with a two or three-goal lead, they still looked vulnerable. Yet they won, why? Because they were far more clinical than Bayern.
That’s exactly my point about our elimination in the UCL. I’ll keep saying it: this is why we went out against Atleti. Not because of the high line or some defensive collapse, but because we didn’t take our chances.
This style of football, what Flick, Enrique, and Kompany all lean towards, is about outscoring the opponent. And if you miss a lot of chances, you’re not beating anyone.

English

@Nancy_fcb Imagine this, and someone will be in his studio in Eko @PoojaMedia claiming Yamal needs to work on productivity.
English

@urtrollingright @0m0lara You still don't get it. When you have both teams constantly going for it, there's not so much you can do in defense. You can't defend with an attack setup and vice versa.
English

@opimpibar1 It wasn't even the elimination in the actual sense. It's the fact that we had won the first leg convincingly.
English

@opimpibar1 This has to be one of the worst nights as a Barca fan if not the worst. I was devastated.
English

@BouafifNour You're so on point bro. That said, is it crazy to say the money meant for Bastoni's transfer should be used to sign a potent forward.
English

This game is exactly why I’ll always back Flick’s football, even the high line.
We’re watching arguably the two best teams in Europe, and both are pressing high, holding a high line, and refusing to drop deep for most of the game. That’s how top-level football is meant to be played.
The difference isn’t the system, it’s the quality. They have the pace, the physicality, and the profiles to execute it at the highest level. We don’t, at least not consistently.
So the issue isn’t Flick’s ideas, it’s whether the squad is equipped to carry them out. Give him the right profiles, and you’ll see exactly what this system is capable of.

English

@playwithtomide Tomide, the only problem if we faced either of them won't be our defense, instead it's the attack. We can't take all our chances like they do and they're equally as open as we are
English

@Nancy_fcb He's just the face of football. Crazy how he is what he is whilst playing with Rashy, Ferran and a finished Lewy. The world isn't ready if only Barça will make the right decisions when it comes to transfers.
English

@FabrizioRomano Game recognizes Game. By the way, there's one geezer @piersmorgan who won't stick to his “uncensored”. Spitting rubbish all around.

@dauda_farouk @0m0lara There's a reason the likes of Simeone do what they do. It's simple: Attacking teams are the worst in defense and defensive teams are the worst in attack. Asides quality, the coordination in their attacks needs to be studied. Especially PSG, it looks well rehearsed with them.
