Sounds like this was a stand off that started around 7:20ish PM with some type of threat. Sus was pointing a gun from his car that was stopped in the middle of the street. Got back in his car and refused to exit. Had a rifle too. Swat took them Into custody about 8:20 PM or so.

EB SR-512 / Woodland Ave. Trooper Simmonds made a traffic stop this morning on a vehicle with severe lane travel that led to a DUI Arrest. The subject is also in custody for reckless endangerment of a child x2, ignition interlock violation, and outstanding DUI warrants.

NEW: Gwinnett man brutally assaults elderly mother and neighbor, then charges and fights officer On March 15, Gwinnett police responded to a call where 31-year-old Kehma Johnson had pushed and yelled at his mother and pulled a neighbor’s hair out. When Officer R. Carrillo-Julian arrived, Johnson admitted he had just smoked weed and was acting erratically. He suddenly charged the officer and was tased. Johnson continued fighting officers all the way to jail. Both his elderly mother and neighbor were medically evaluated after the assault. Johnson faces charges including Aggravated Battery, False Imprisonment, Battery, Obstructing an Emergency Call, and Felony Obstruction of Law Enforcement.

@MitchSpute @dscannerchatter I followed that bear all the way through Ballard by people posting about it from their homes. There were helicopters overhead and people's dogs were going crazy. Eventually, the bear went to ground in a golf course or something up north. Fun Night!
