24 years I ago I started out in policing in an administration role. Such an opportunity, rich in experiences to be had. This week, my daughter started work in an admin role in policing and I couldn’t be more proud of the professional she is. Gratitude to all police staff 💙

I’ve been this kid, feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders. Feeling out of step. Wanting to join in, talk & be social inside but just couldn’t. I found my way as an adult but I wonder what it might have been like if someone checked in back then. Love this campaign 💙

Reaching out can be hard. I’m reflecting this morning on the consistent compassion of my counselling & wellbeing teams who are there when an officer/staff takes that important step. Keep checking in with one another. Know the help is there & how 2 access 💙 #policewellbeing

I’ve submitted my first piece of work for my Criminology Masters! I feel like I can re-enter the human race for a while…💙

I’m always really proud of the Counselling and Wellbeing teams & how they provide the best support possible to officers & staff. This week, they’ve introduced 3 new placement students in the Kent team 2 boost capacity 2 provide counselling 2 more clients. The students will be 1/1

2023 was a year of professional rejection 4 me. I’ve felt a bit lost and doubted my ability…but I’ve dug deep & rolled with the growth. Today, I’ve been accepted by ARU Cambridge to study a Masters in Criminology 😱 I’m so grateful for the opportunity and HAPPY! #keeplearning

I’ve had an attack of low confidence/high anxiety lately. A combination of reasons. 2night, I walked in 2 a lecture theatre of uni students & talked about mental health in policing off the hoof (I thought it was a meeting!). It went well. The relief! Could I be back? 💙🤞🙏

@J1977 Stu and I had the same conversation. Its meant to prepare them for the workplace. Yet we relax uniform rules in a disciplined organisation. Same with toilet usage. I understand there a individuals that may push the boundaries etc but our young people need more care!

My son had to wear his blazer, & told to put it back on, 4 most of this week until the school relented & said he still had to bring it 2 class. Ties on all week. Why do many schools insist on uniform standards over wellbeing 4 children? Inane control #schooluniform
