@Richard_AHolmes Good thing the feckless UK has no actionable intelligence under Starmer. The UK can’t be trusted.
English

NEW: UK officials feel they can no longer trust US counterparts with sensitive material, plunging a decades-long intelligence relationship into uncertainty.
An official said the White House showed “no compulsion about screwing over allies” and stated that the UK simply “cannot trust” Donald Trump.
It comes after yesterday’s FT report revealing that US officials seconded to UK Government are being asked to leave meetings which discuss sensitive information.
A UK intelligence source described the move as “tit for tat”, meaning that any attempts to protect UK intelligence are only in response to similar hostilities from the US.

@DONROD777 @FT The US will be directly hurt. Your gas price will be >$5 per barrel. Nitrogen fertiliser has increased in price therefore food prices will rise.

Breaking news: The UK will host talks this week aimed at forming a coalition to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, as countries respond to Donald Trump’s threat to wind down the Iran conflict without securing the vital waterway ft.trib.al/pDbYVtz

@David_R_0980 @cnnbrk @Microinteracti1 There has been no Article 5 request from the USA to NATO. That's because Article 5 can only be invoked after an attack on any member state.
English

All NATO members are legally obliged to respond to an Article 5 request, but they have full discretion on how they respond. The treaty requires members to assist the attacked ally by taking "such action as it deems necessary" to restore security, which can range from providing military forces to economic sanctions or humanitarian aid, rather than an automatic declaration of war

Trump renews his attacks on NATO, suggesting he could withdraw the US from the alliance over its lack of support for his war on Iran.

@Osint613 Talks should probably be suspended until Trump decides whether or not to be bound by the North Atlantic Treaty.

@WarMonitor3 He's been undermining NATO since day 1 of taking office.
English

@shjomital @Osint613 Name these 'many times' that Article 5 could have been used.
Only 1 NATO member has and that was the USA after 9/11. NATO then helped in Iraq and Afganistan as a consequence.

@Osint613 NATO its a joke… mamy times they had the chance to use article 5 and never happened… only words blah blah … scary cats

@JP03880617 @WarMonitor3 You mean like coming to the USA's aid when they triggered NATO Article 5 after 9/11?
English

@Slayer44535 @WarMonitor3 Would you like to go back a little bit more in time and make one with all the betrayal Europe has visited on the US? You kept buying Russian energy long after we warned you to stop, but you laughed. We begged you to meet your NATO obligations. You refused.

Hegseth: On the Strait of Hormuz, there are many more vessels flowing through today than there were, as the president has arranged. The president's been clear to Iran. Open it for business or we have options and we certainly do.
There are countries around the world who ought be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well. It's not just the United States Navy. Last time I checked, there was supposed to be a big, bad Royal Navy that could be prepared to do things like that as well. So he's pointing out this is an international waterway that we use less than most, in fact dramatically less than most. So the world ought pay attention and be prepared to stand up. President Trump's been willing to do the heavy lifting on behalf of the free world to address this threat of Iran.
It's not just our problem set going forward, even though we have done the lion's share of preparation to ensure that that straight will be will be open

@Plasticwasteguy @Osint613 US and Israeli problem. Sort it out yourselves.

@DerealStel65999 @cnnbrk The 'one administration' is directly responsible for the increase in gas prices by creating a shortage of crude due to its incompetent and illegal military assault on Iran.
English

US gas hits $4 per gallon for the first time since 2022, with average prices now higher than at any point during Trump's two terms cnn.it/47xRBMY

@khizdddeeee @Osint613 You clearly do not understand that NATO is a defensive organisation with enshrined articles that govern how it operates. It is not for the unilateral use of Trump in wars of aggression that it was not informed or consulted about.
English

@Osint613 🔥 Rubio’s callin’ out NATO’s bluff, sayin’ the US is gettin’ shortchanged big time 💸. Europe’s gettin’ a free ride on defense while the US is stuck in the mud, losin’ leverage and resources. It’s like, time for a glow-up, NATO—either share the load or watch the US rewrite
English

@sentdefender The Russians are doing as they please and Trump is powerless to stop them.
English

@NickRicci5 @WarMonitor3 Trump stopped financial support for Ukraine early last year.
English

@WarMonitor3 The U.S should stop helping Ukraine because it’s not our war and let the British fend for themselves
