@MarkDavis Here in Kentucky the local county government wanted to raise property taxes for a project. I asked if it would have a sunset clause and was told it would not, I voted “No” on it.

Texans deserve to see this surplus returned to them immediately in the form of property tax relief. As lawmakers have dallied with appraisals and tax rates, a surplus means government has too much of our money. We have been gouged for too long. Give it back.

@DirtDraft my chili bowl results are not showing. I even looked after the race of champions and it showed my finish. I think it was in the 700’s.

@NexusCombat @dirttrackdawg11 @nascar_opinion I agree with you on most points. I don’t see how any of the current big names winning it help nascar. NASCAR needs the one offs, small teams and surprise winners. A SVG or Heilo win would help them more than Chase, Larson, Brad, Bowman, Busch, Hamlin, etc.

@dirttrackdawg11 @nascar_opinion I think if Chase wins 36 of 36 races, he goes from the most popular driver to what people thought of Kyle for years.

A take I'll continue to have: Underdog winners in the #DAYTONA500 are bad for the sport. We need big names that move the needle: - Chase Elliott - Kyle Larson - Kyle Busch - Denny Hamlin - Bubba Wallace Those names make headlines.

@piratehawk_ @bobpockrass I agree but I’ve also been to races where there was a “promoter provisional”. For the most part I don’t have a huge issue with it.

Got a clarification from NASCAR: If Helio Castroneves qualifies for the Daytona 500 through the duels or by speed, the field will be 40 cars. It will only be 41 if he fails to qualify and he uses the provisional (and then he/team doesn't get purse money, points, etc).
