Ridiculous start to the game because Hanley makes a complete arse of playing offside. Didn't start playing until the last 10 minutes. No shots on target so ultimately got what we deserved.

@MartyJ777 @DJSnM The OG - in Glasgow - it's there to this day (well, not that one literally, but there's always a cone on it). The Council used to remove it, but it was replaced immeadiately after, so they gave up.

@MartyJ777 @DJSnM It's not new - there's been a traffic cone on the head of the Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow since at least the 1980s... Queen Elizabeth II in Aberdeen wears one from time to time also. It's just a thing we do - every statue needs a traffic cone imho.

@Jackie04725626 The Tories could win in Aberdeen South (by-election) against the SNP. Restore are conveniently not running even though many from the area have claimed they have tried to start up a branch and put a candidate in.

There’s no advanced economy (a category to which Scotland still qualifies, just) that currently has a budget deficit anywhere near 12% GDP. That’s a crisis or wartime deficit — and even then is not sustainable. And OK, so not groats. What currency would you borrow in?
