@AndyHughesCrime @joncraig How does Jon Craig not know who Binface is? He's on the ballot for goodness sake and is a stalwart of election nights. Expertly navigated? More like pompous and dismissive. Very poor for a Chief Political Correspondent, but I ditched Sky years ago for the same reason.
English

I have watched this about 30 times today. And each time it gets better.
Unpredictable, lighthearted and hilarious live TV at its very best.
Expertly navigated by my mate @joncraig
Count Binface@CountBinface
I enjoyed every second of this interview. Which makes one of us…
English

@trevorbaxendale I'd pay good money to see him fall off Jodrell Bank and then regenerate into Kemi
English

No! He must fight on. I want to see the debacle unfold. Sod dignity, give us the absolute shitshow we deserve

🚨BREAKING: Keir Starmer will make a decision over the weekend with his family over whether he will resign in disgrace as Prime Minister, per the Times I think this is it… 🇬🇧
English

@PhilipCoutts1 Could have been much worse. If we hadn't been asleep for the first 70 seconds we might have got the point.

@MartyJ777 @DJSnM The OG - in Glasgow - it's there to this day (well, not that one literally, but there's always a cone on it). The Council used to remove it, but it was replaced immeadiately after, so they gave up.

English

@MartyJ777 @DJSnM It's not new - there's been a traffic cone on the head of the Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow since at least the 1980s... Queen Elizabeth II in Aberdeen wears one from time to time also. It's just a thing we do - every statue needs a traffic cone imho.
English

@michaelbuck1990 @CountBinface Burnham doesn't live in the constituency either...
English

@Slopey @CountBinface The sky news journalist isn't running to be their mp though..apples and oranges. A surreal interview nonetheless.
English

@kelvmackenzie @macnahgalla Oh Kevin! It’s PRINCIPLES! A principal is someone who runs things!
English

@MikeyFromUK @atk66713051 @LeftwaffenWatch Indeed - with chips = supper, "on it's own" (and the apostrophe is wrong) = single - could be far easier. And no burger, king rib, mock chop????? On the plus side, you can get booze! But no mushy peas!
English

@atk66713051 @LeftwaffenWatch English chippies are weird. Where’s the sausage supper, smoked sausage supper, black pudding supper, haggis supper, steak pie supper?
English

@StephenFlynnSNP So you're lambasting a new party, who have never had seats until last month, because they don't mention something YOUR party has not delivered on for 15 years??? Get a grip. The SNP have failed completely on infrastructure - roads, ferries - it's been a failure.
English

@twitjesper @nexta_tv AI slop - time to ditch following this stupid account.
English

⚽️ The 2026 World Cup will feature new “smart” footballs
Each Adidas ball contains a built-in 14-gram sensor that tracks speed, trajectory, spin, and player touches 500 times per second.
The data is processed with the help of AI, allowing referees to make faster and more accurate decisions.
The main thing is that now even the ball needs to be charged before the match 😂

English

Absolutely wrong. Opening up the North Sea may not reduce bills but it will stimulate the economy and provide growth through service companies. If nothing changes in the next 6 months, I’m moving my company to Houston as I can’t make a living or payroll for my staff out of Aberdeen in this climate. Otherwise you’re looking at 100k+ unemployed

Tony Blair might not like my plan, but he's wrong: it's changing Britain for the better.

@Jake_Ventham @Jackie04725626 That's my constituency, and most people in it, who aren't glued to Twitter, have zero idea who Lowe is or that Restore exist. Reform split the Tory vote, so we're stuck with Flynn, and unless the Reform voters move to Tory, the same will happen again.
English

@Jackie04725626 The Tories could win in Aberdeen South (by-election) against the SNP. Restore are conveniently not running even though many from the area have claimed they have tried to start up a branch and put a candidate in.
English

Let me get this right, I am meant to believe that Restore Britain isn’t a Tory ploy to split the Reform vote. But.
• Restore’s advisory board had 3 current Tory Mp’s on it.
• Restore aren’t running in constituencies that the Tories could win in but are running where Reform could win
• @RupertLowe10 had a shared directorship in a business with Rishi Sunak’s Wife
• @RupertLowe10 was appointed to a Tory committee seat
• An ex tory MP that left because of fraud works for Restore
• @RupertLowe10 admitted to an ‘agreement’ with the Tories
• @RupertLowe10 said he wanted a restored Tory party to be in Government
Sounds a bit fishy to me.
Restore and @RupertLowe10 has some explaining to do.

@jayskin23 @BBCBreaking More likely the £40 ticket will still cost £40, and the retailer will pocket the 4.76 vat saving.
English

@BBCBreaking So a £40 ticket to an attraction will now cost £35, hardly a game changer for families
English

Cheaper tickets for theme parks and children's meals as Chancellor Rachel Reeves cuts VAT to 5% for some attractions this summer

@LBC It's no surprise dealing with the rail industry in the UK where additional costs, delays and huge wages are the norm. I tried to sell a progress tracking system to HS2 for pylons - that was the last thing they wanted, otherwise everyone would know how far behind they were!!!

There’s no advanced economy (a category to which Scotland still qualifies, just) that currently has a budget deficit anywhere near 12% GDP. That’s a crisis or wartime deficit — and even then is not sustainable.
And OK, so not groats. What currency would you borrow in?
Gary Thomson@Gazthomson
@afneil The UK runs permanent deficits funded by borrowing, but when Scotland might do the same it suddenly becomes “groats”? Fascinating. Almost every independent country manages debt, issues bonds and adjusts spending over time. Scotland wouldn’t be inventing economics from scratch. 🤔
