@SJTuohy Been saying this since there was talk about all of this 10+ years ago. Until you pay for your own schooling/apply for loans and understand taxes on a large scale and how income literally impacts all the decisions-you have no idea how much that free education was really worth.

Portal open! One piece of advice I would give a player having been on all sides of the portal process: don’t mess up your life’s money for a one-time bag. Yeah, school “X” offered you 50k more than school “Y” did. But, now you transferred to a place that didn’t have your program; you lost credits. You played at 3 places and have no network and no one that has a vested interest in your success after graduating. Even more so, with all these redshirts. If you have ONE year left to graduate and TWO years left to play: finish your degree. You can always go somewhere your last year and chase the bag or go down a level and play. Just make sure “life changing money” IS life changing and not just briefly lifestyle changing. Factors like quality of life and cost of living matter. One last thing on it: if you leveraging the portal to get more $ at your current school and that does NOT work, it’s even less likely the portal is going to be beneficial. Be careful! @ChrisKarpman Refs missing the offsides call, Breedlove ejected, Nkuba went out, Robinson dropped the ball. It wasn’t just this interception. We lost it when Robinson dropped it, Duke recovered and scored. They just had to hold us from there.

Sims was intercepted. First turnover of an otherwise excellent performance.

@JordanSimone38 I love it! I wish we could have a ball pit for them to jump into in the regular seasons. It’s so fun to watch them have a good time.

Helluva season for ASU. Community should be proud. Unfortunately, this is more realistic for them given all the injuries. Kudos to Kenny, his staff and the culture for finishing the regular season strong despite all the adversity. Back-to-back years in it till the end.

@ChrisKarpman @SunDevilSource They’re good when they have a game plan that’s not reliant on one person. Otherwise they fall apart. Our defense is gritty, special teams is looking better, but offense was gutted and couldn’t adjust. We’re still battling bad calls that cost us big time. Need depth.

ASU fans, how do you view this season?

@BDenny29 Arroyo has to go. Refs gave this to UofA (end of first half and PI on 12 doing exactly what he had done all game) but zero adjustment and our defense was exhausted. Arroyo was banking on Tyson and no one else was ready.

This will snap ASU’s run of 16 consecutive games won when leading at halftime.

@ChrisKarpman Sims was clearly frustrated. Offense didn’t look together at all. Should have kept Tyson in as a decoy through the 3rd. WR aren’t even looking when the ball comes their direction.

Just a complete failure by ASU’s offense and very poor punt and punt return play in a field position game. Extremely disappointing. Sims had done well overall as the backup, but tonight was a nightmare.
