First look at $SNAP Specs, revealed during @evanspiegel AWE presentation today.

Peak pessimism across the board for $SNAP today. Easy target it seems. Will be even more rewarding to prove every single one of these people wrong in due time. Q3 ‘26 will be spectacular (pun intended). Won’t be below $5 much longer.

Evan is only one or two generations away… I wouldn’t bet against him. AR is the winning model and he knows it.

All in $SNAP but this is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day.

For reference, the top of the line AI glasses from $META are only $799. They are also much slimmer and are powered by Meta's own AI model.

$SNAP Specs are the new computers. From casual use, to business. There are some many reasons why people, or companies would buy these. They're not meant to be a fashion statement. The stock is at bottom barrel bargain pricing. This right here is how you turn 1 to 10.

Stifel reiterated a Hold rating on Snap after CEO Evan Spiegel gave a presentation at Augmented World Expo, featuring a handful of new announcements around Lens Studio and the developer ecosystem, as well as a look at the upcoming launch of the SPECS AR glasses. The firm believes the keynote demonstrated the scale of Snap's developer ecosystem, and while the upcoming launch of SPECS reflects a material step forward in expanding the non-app business, the firm believes the relatively premium price point likely keeps adoption limited in the near-term. Stifel added that, given the likely small base, it would not expect growth in SPECS to be a meaningful contributor to a top-line re-acceleration in the near-term, and remains cautious given ongoing headwinds.

$SNAP is moving in the right direction, with the amount of compute these AR devices require it will take time to miniaturize the tech. The new specs (above) are a big improvement from the developer specs below. Lots of work still but these things take time like any new technology @specs

Funny how prior to today’s presentation by @evanspiegel, rumors were that @specs would be priced at ~$2500. Now actually lower than rumored, still resulting in a selloff of the stock.

This is the progress on @specs in 1.5 years time by $SNAP. Image 5 or even 10 years from now.

$SNAP CTO and co-founder Bobby Murphy just took the stage at @ARealityEvent.

@specs are a huge improvement from the previous spectacles (generation 5), released in September 2024. Keep in mind $SNAP managed to do this with limited resources (compared to tech giants) and these products are just 1.5 years apart.

@SnapInvestors Most people have no clue what they just witnessed— drowned out by the usual manufactured trolling from people who have never commented on SNAP before in a clear misinformation campaign. These are a major innovation and introduction that will be valuable in multiple sectors.

Unpopular opinion: $SNAP holds up incredibly well with Specs in the AR race against giants like $META. A true AR consumer product without a separate computing device is an incredible achievement. At $2195 it’s far lower than the reported $10k production cost for $META Orion.

One thing that would make $SNAP run 10% in a day is a decent sized insider buy from @evanspiegel. Vote of confidence.

Snap Specs for $2,195 is an instant nope for 99% people

tbh hope for the future of smart glasses is why i didn't get lasik but i hope they are actually good, i want AR much more than AI in smart glasses

@redshiftbishop $META RayBan Display aren’t comparable at all. The Meta Display can’t even be called true AR glasses really.

yeah....no. way too bulky for not enough of a value add to the meta ray bans. $META took an already classic design and added a small computer while snap and apple tried to reinvent the computer with new, unnatural designs. no wonder $SNAP is down 5% they might sell 1000 of these
