India’s EDUCATION MINISTER thinks that the Equator “meets” the Tropic of Cancer in Ujjain. The Equator (0° latitude) & the Tropic of Cancer (23.5°N latitude) are PARALLEL LINES. Parallel lines = Lines that never meet. When you vote BJP, these are the kind of people who shape India’s education system & policies.

Israel killed 3 Indonesian UN peacekeepers in South Lebanon. They were wearing blue helmets. They were in UN uniforms. They were peacekeepers. Israel bombed them anyway. Not a peep in Western media. Not a word from the international community. Kick Israel out of the UN.

Half a million people have lost day jobs in one city and this news is nowhere in Indian media. as if these people don't exist like they were made invisible during covid from TV news media. how many cities and industries are facing this?

Apocalyptic economic fallout. NHK confirms Trump's disastrous war has completely paralyzed India's massive textile industry. With 90% of their LPG imports choked off at the Strait of Hormuz, HALF A MILLION workers just lost their jobs. The global supply chain is collapsing.

The fact that we are getting this news from intl outlets should shame every newspaper in this country. @IndianExpress allegedly our best, has no sign of this alarming job loss. But sure. @rajkamaljha will come down from his ivory tower to punch that Galgotia lady;. Laanat hai.

Best part about the state of current media is there is no educating the reader. These publications hire kids barely out of journalism schools and ask them to churn copies on trending topics and tweets. x.com/htTweets/statu…

Believe it or not, it is very hard to get Indians to use mobility aids including wheelchairs. There's so much stigma and weirdness around it. Some people have mobility issues so they use chairs at airports and while traveling. Don't know why we should be judgemental about it.
Sumit Ramani@RamaniSumit

Sitting in an airport lounge, I watched a lady (possibly in her early 60s) arrive in a wheelchair, assisted by airline staff. The moment she was inside, she stood up with ease, walked across the floor in her reasonably high heels, and returned with a generously loaded plate of food. I am trying very hard not to judge.

@RamaniSumit Don't think it needs to make sense for you since you don't use a wheelchair or don't have any kind of mobility issue. You shouldn't have a say, neither should I. Lot of young people have mobility issues, lot of old people have health issues. A service like this is a good thing.

This makes sense if 1. The service was paid for. I am not too sure of it. But yes, it is possible. 2. A medical condition that prevents an individual from walking long distances but not short ones. At least some comments to this post suggest so
