@geordinhl @MayorofLondon @CityofCT @ukinsouthafrica Ah yes, the man who brought the city that is over 1000 years old to it's knees. Well done.

🇿🇦🇬🇧 Welcome to Cape Town, @MayorofLondon, Sadiq Khan, and all of the great entrepreneurs along with you on this outreach trip!
There is so much business already done between these two great cities. We’d love to see the ‘business bridge’ between us grow even stronger to create more JOBS for Capetonians.
We also had a great discussion on rail devolution, infrastructure funding, tourism, and more.
Thank you! Have a great time in the Mother City 🇿🇦😄❤️

@Pirat_Nation I personally find it hilarious , the whole AI art movement. It is all the people who were for the DADA movement and "anything can be art" getting their comeuppance.

@RiebvJanbeeck People need to stop looking at history as black and white. Its's more grey than anything. With colonialism came hospitals, English common law, schools which means longer life spans and increased literature rates.

Europeans took some minerals that Africans didn’t know they had under their feet.
In exchange, Africa was hurled 1000 years into the future.
You should say thank you.

@RiebvJanbeeck Europeans took a lot and continue taking from Africa. The only solution is for bold African leaders to exclude Europe from their affairs.

@uMarhobane Funny enough, I was just reading an old Kimberley newspaper from 1885 and came across thishttps://cdm21048.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p21048coll58/id/26/rec/8

I actually have one in mind which has a history of use as a liberation song and is violent
Merck Toch Hoe Sterck, the anthem of Bergen op Zoom for its resistance against Spanish rule
It was used again as the Boerekrygslied during the Boer War, rewritten to refer to the British
Orion@ori0n7
It’s time for a struggle song! “SHOOT THE CADRE!!!”
