Marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman. No matter how fucked up your marriage is, It shouldn't affect your role in parenting. Your parents did their job in parenting and you should do yours. You don't let you life decision affect your kids and also don't let your life experience be part of your parenting. Parents spend their time working and providing while society gladly breaks it. Same teaching curriculum has been used for years which barely serve a purpose in today's world. They indoctrinate our kids and expose them to the life of crime and gangs. Splitting families by indoctrinating each member to a different gang causing disunity. And a curious mother will ask "why don't my kids get along?" We must fix the core problem together before Morality is completely lost.
