During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Open Cosmos had the opportunity to mark the award of Liechtenstein’s Ka-band spectrum filings in the company of some of the most respected minds in space, policy, finance, and government. Being able to share this moment in such a setting - and to do so through thoughtful, substantive discussion - was a privilege. During the day, we held focused and constructive conversations on the role of space in addressing global challenges, from resilience and sovereignty to connectivity and long-term security. Davos also provided a valuable platform for meaningful engagement and networking with senior leaders shaping the international space and policy agenda. Open Cosmos was honoured to welcome H.S.H. the Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein, H.S.H. Prince Max of Liechtenstein, and H.S.H. Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein, alongside Prime Minister Brigitte Haas, Minister @hubertbuechel , and The Lord @jstockwood, UK Minister for Investment @biztradegovuk , for a private VIP session. We are grateful for their time, insight, and continued leadership in advancing Europe’s space ambitions, and their support in our ambition to deliver our new LEO capability. We also hosted Space & Global Challenges: The 2026 Agenda, convening senior figures from government, international institutions, finance, industry, and policy. The discussion benefited greatly from the perspectives of Aarti Holla-Maini, Director @UNOOSA; @andrepietri, Chairman and Scientific Director, Joint European Disruptive Initiative (JEDI) @EuroJedi , and Hermann Ludwig Moeller, Director of the European Space Policy Institute (@ESPIspace) alongside @RafelJorda, CEO and Founder of Open Cosmos. Their contributions set the tone for a serious and forward-looking exchange. We would also like to acknowledge the many senior participants and guests who contributed to the discussions - your engagement, insight, and openness made the dialogue both rigorous and constructive. While the substance of the conversations will remain private in keeping with the nature of the forum, we are pleased to share a small selection of photos from the week. @JCemmell #OpenCosmos #Davos

Reshaping Europe’s Space Landscape Open Cosmos has been authorised to operate two high priority satellite spectrum filings that belong to the Principality of Liechtenstein. By securing these filings, Open Cosmos is ready to build and operate a new secure LEO broadband satellite constellation. Our ambition is to diversify the options for critical infrastructure and digital resilience for Europe and the world. This is a turning point for European space sovereignty. In the words of our CEO, Rafel Jordá Siquier: "Securing these filings is a defining moment. We gain an invaluable opportunity to realise Europe’s space ambitions and true potential." As an established operator with a decade of experience and a 100% mission success rate in orbit, we are moving rapidly: - The first two satellites of this constellation will launch imminently. - These satellites were manufactured at our UK headquarters, with vital contributions from our teams in Spain, Portugal, and Greece. This is how we are establishing Europe’s LEO sovereignty and resiliency.
