It’s simple #Browns fans: Follow the money. Follow the money, and tell me (with a straight face) that Jalen Hurts is traded. Trading him prior to June 1 (for pick 6, since that’s been floated): $66 million in dead money -$33 million in cap space If the Eagles traded him today, they would have less than 1 million in cap space, meaning they wouldn’t even be able to sign their rookie pool. @KenCarman was right; what are we doing here?

All I’m asking is for some people to look at the deal (not you guys, I’m sure you did the math) and know it’s a horrid idea for Hurts for pick 6. Being transparent, that contract he carries is…well it’s awful, even for the most experienced cap workers. Cap hits of: $31 m $42 m $47 m $97 m And cash hits of $52 m per yr over the next 3 yrs. On that deal. Yes, there’s 6 dummy years, but you’d have to float so much cash that it’s not even worth the squeeze lol

@SparkScouting It wasn't a literal conversation. @JPeterlin hates a Tanner McKee trade, so it was gauging that hate vs trading the 6th pick for Jalen Hurts. It wasn't reporting or suggesting its an actual trade this offseason which was not conveyed

At 6, I’m not trading for Jalen Hurts. That pick has to be a QB you win because of, not just win with. He’s a big piece, no doubt. But at that spot, you need to be the biggest piece. I’m out on that move. #Browns @NickWilsonSays @JPeterlin

Utah OL Spencer Fano’s arms measured 32 7/8 just now at his pro day, up from 32 1/8 at the Combine. Another indication that, for whatever reason, the measurements in Indy were short for a number of prospects. That’s a big 3/4 inch difference for Fano.

Tbh, I think the true number is somewhere in between his combine & pro day measurements, and being honest? I prefer Spencer Fano on the interior at Guard/Center. *ducks*
