@JamesPearceLFC They need wingers who can score and assist, that Luis Diaz of Bayern looks really good.

@TheImmortalKop About to lose one of the only truly world class players as well in Mo Salah. It’ll only get worse sadly.

We badly need to sign multiple attackers, midfielders and defenders. Not even joking this club is in a very, very bad situation

@LewisSteele_ He’s ruined the club in less than 2 years. That takes some doing. I’m not sure what keeping him is achieving? It’s pure sentiment for fluking a title and it looks like it could cost the club for years to come.

There were positive moments last night but ultimately Liverpool were second best for the vast majority of this tie. The gap between the two teams, having been so thin last year, is now massive. And Arne Slot got big calls wrong again. Analysis ⬇️🔴 dailymail.co.uk/sport/football…

@JamesPearceLFC It all comes from the manager. He’s out of his depth. The squad benefited from the change of pace last season, that’s why they won the title. Not because of Arne’s genius. He fluked it. Now the whole club will suffer because of that incompetent fraud.

There was plenty of fight but a lack of quality when it mattered most. Here was Liverpool's season in microcosm with missed chances punished and more injury woe. Slot got his team selection wrong with Isak having just five touches in the opening 45mins. nytimes.com/athletic/71965…

@DKingTelegraph @TelegraphSport I’m really worried for the future of the club, they look lost on all fronts. It’s LFC they’ll survive, but it seems their high point is long gone. Can only see a sharp decline from here sadly.

The 17th defeat intensifies the pressure on Arne Slot but, for a large period against PSG, there was an intensity to Liverpool’s play. It makes you wonder why the energy and urgency has been absent on so many occasions this season ✍️ for @TelegraphSport telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@AdamCrafton_ @sidlowe Should be free for those with a ticket, the money they’ll generate in Boston will far outweigh the cost of fuel.

The price is obvs mad but who should pay for it to be free? I can see an argument for fifa helping given their huge profits but I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable expecting local taxpayers to do so, or it being free for a wealthy match-attending visitor while a low-earning local pays for their regular commute

My delusional self is sitting here getting goosebumps for comeback edits on Tiktok, wishing Liverpool would do it tonight, knowing we won’t. I miss the Klopp days where I got so hyped up before big games. Couldn’t think straight all day, just wanted the game to begin.

NEW @TheAthleticFC World Cup host committee for Boston is providing alternative service to $80 MBTA trains to Gillette stadium… A $95 bus service. Like the trains, no special pricing for children or seniors. Full details: nytimes.com/athletic/71943…

@KayfabePenguin @1972_rickyb @KopBlock107 The two stick banners is deff a British thing, seen loads from those days. The large wavey flags are an Italian thing and Liverpool probably picked it up on their travels but the Kop was always full of smaller flags and scarfs from the 60s onwards.

@JamesPearceLFC @TheAthleticFC PSG are a wonderful team with great players, but if Liverpool give their all for 90+ minutes you just never know! It’s Anfield ffs, silly things happen there 😅 one sloppy back pass, one stupid mistake from psg - it can happen, just have faith.

More utter shite from delusional FC. First English club to do flags properly was Man United. At the 1977 FA Cup Final, United fans turned up with loads of red flags and banners. It is often remembered as one of the first big English examples of coordinated fan colour. Italy started the flag culture in the 60’s/70’s, you need to do better if you’re going lie.

@AnfieldSector Spot on. Hopefully they get it resolved soon. Liverpool doesn’t tend to do well when there’s a disconnect between fans players and the club.

🚨 Virgil van Dijk has urged the Liverpool hierarchy not to ignore the growing discontent among fans over the planned increase in ticket prices: “I think the fans are the heart and soul of the club. If they feel like this then protest is their fair right. "Hopefully they come to a solution with the club. These things are far above my position as captain of the club. "But my opinion is that our fans are the club. They always have been - before my time and after my time. It's important that these things get solved because it benefits no-one."
