At a certain point, I just have to address what's on my mind and I guess that time is now.
I have always come to Twitter to give the fans of my players an inside look at the way we do things, the way I think about our team's performance and give my honest feedback about events occurring within the community. I have tried for years now to go on all the media sources our community has to offer, to answer questions and share my beliefs about basically everything I care about. Does it come across as cringe sometimes? Maybe but I truly couldn't care less. Anybody that knows me knows that I love to talk to everyone and share information so that we can come together and I can attempt to give you something to root for. For that, I know I have a target on my back especially on social media and especially during tough times like this.
Over the past year, I have done this inside look less and less and I don't think its hard to understand why. I agree with every single one of you that this year has been god awful and the finger has to be pointed at someone. For all purposes, it probably should be pointed at me but to say that I'm a fraud or I don't know what I'm doing is just pure hate with no attempt at understanding any situation that goes on behind the scenes. To put it simply, we have underachieved with the most amount of resources at our disposal courtesy of Gen.G and Mobil1. Don't you think its deflating enough to put in as much work as we do and come up short 3 regionals in a row?
I sat here for months after last split correcting my mistakes firstly because I couldn't believe it myself, adjusting our team's playstyle and communication and I will tell you that we all felt insanely confident going into this regional especially with the edition of someone like Frosty who has been an infectious beacon of hope for Rise, MB, Kev and myself. We spend hours looking at replays, simplifying reads, and making sure we are putting our players in the best spots to succeed on and off the field. Sometimes you fall short and thats the truth of the matter. I'm not satisfied with it and I'm not someone that's going to sugarcoat it either. You have to be better especially when you are in the position we are in.
With that being said, I am still extremely confident in the team we have here at Gen.G and I know they are confident in me so I'm gonna do what I know best and that is to put my head down and try my best so we can be prepared for the next regionals and the months ahead. I'm sure I'll grab some hate from this somehow but I'm not going to change who I am anytime soon. Love you all.

the loss yesterday was upsetting, but we’re still in this regional and Copenhagen. I reminded myself that the last time I was in this position results-wise (in NA) was back in November 2020 when I was 16. I’m 21 now. a lot of time has passed, and I’ve learned a lot since then, especially about handling losses and bouncing back from adversity. one thing that’s never changed through all those years is that I’ve never lost faith in myself. I have full confidence in my team and in our ability to keep progressing this season. I couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming RLCS LAN we’ll be preparing for in Denmark, I love my squad; and having this massive sense of gratitude is eye-opening for me. thanks everyone for the support throughout it all as usual, truly means the world to me.
