Hey friends, After deep reflection and consideration, I decided, after two years of service as your affiliate chairwoman, to step away from my chair role. I have put this role ahead of family for a couple of years, but after difficult family events in November and December, I have been called to put family back as my priority. I had already asked Brian Flanagan in September to consider running for chair, as I would not be running again, and he agreed. He will be an excellent leader for the team if elected, and I fully endorse him. I am incredibly proud of the team of amazing humans we put together to bring this affiliate back from a certain and pitiful death; LPEPC will be in great hands moving forward. I am proud of the goals we met and blew past, as well as the relationships and gatherings we built with fellow freedom fighters across Colorado, choosing to focus our attention on the fruits of people's character—their actions, priorities, and "Freedom Scores"—that show the truth of their efforts to bring freedom back to our Colorado community. Unity with such people is the only way to defeat the chaos and division of communists and fascists, or anyone who hates the average family’s or individual’s happiness and success in growing their lives in the way they feel called. I am deeply honored to call so many of these new colleagues and relationships my friends for life. You have made a bigger impact on me than I have on you, and I am grateful. Thank you for your trust and friendship, its been real rad! PS, let's have a beer together and pew some targets some time! Rebekah Craig Chair, Libertarian Party of El Paso County

I wonder if @KeithLaube has reached anywhere close to +10,250 new registered Libertarians as per his charts and graphs and promises made at his @LPCO election to chairman. Q1 goal would need to be that much or more. He would need 3,147 minimum per month to stay on track. Also, he never mentioned money but I’d say that’s a $2m project. How’s fundraising going? Oh, that’s right they got rid of their fundraising software and are relying on hand written cards now. Sure glad I’m not a part of that mess now. 🙌

🪚 CHAINSAW KITCHEN TALK🪚 Time to cut through bureaucracy and unleash growth in the Centennial State! Forget the doom—let's focus on these powerhouse sectors for massive GDP gains: 1. Tech & AI: With AI jobs up 62%, hubs like Boulder can explode with incentives. Why? High-wage exports, VC billions—adds 0.5-1% GDP yearly! 2. Energy: Solar/wind goldmine in San Luis Valley. Why? Federal grants + jobs (10K+) = $2-3B injection, exporting green tech nationwide. 3. Aerospace & Defense: #1 in private aero jobs—Space Command HQ. Why? $1B+ contracts, 5K jobs, recession-proof multipliers for 0.3-0.5% growth. 4. Tourism & Outdoor Economy: $20B/year from parks & trails. Why? Sustainable infra draws 10% more visitors, $2B spend, 15K jobs in hospitality. 5. Bioscience & Health: Denver's precision med boom. Why? 8K jobs, 1.5x multipliers, taps aging demos for 0.4% GDP lift via R&D. Colorado's got the talent & resources—cut the red tape, invest smart, hit 4% growth by '27!

🌅 GOOD MORNING, COLORADO! 🪚🔥 Time to fire up the chainsaws and rattle the cages. Here’s your Monday, December 8, 2025 complaint menu, served red-hot: We can complain about… 1. Jared Polis’s approval rating drowning faster than a Denver pothole in spring runoff 2. Polis funneling our tax dollars into “sanctuary” perks while TABOR refunds feel like pocket change 3. 60% of third-graders who still can’t read at grade level after a “record” $256 million school funding bump 4. College in Colorado costing more than a downtown loft and leaving grads $50K+ in debt 5. Michael Bennet’s campaign caught double-dipping fundraising and blurring lines with shady PACs 6. Jena Griswold hiding voter rolls while Tina Peters rots in jail for trying to expose the truth 7. Phil Weiser racking up 2,000 campaign-finance violations and shielding Griswold like a mob lawyer 8. Twelve Democrat lawmakers partying at a luxury Vail retreat paid for by “dark money” 9. Colorado ranking #1 in auto thefts and still treating car thieves like parking-ticket scofflaws 10. Being #5 worst state for drug addiction while fentanyl pours across the open border 11. Reintroduced wolves slaughtering livestock while CPW’s helitak program burns millions in mismanagement 12. Denver officially ranked the “worst city in America to raise a family” 13. A $750 million budget hole because the feds finally turned off the COVID cash spigot 14. Billionaire ranch owners fencing off public land while the BLM argues with itself 15. Trump’s new BLM pick about to open 8.3 million acres to either drilling or total lockup, pick your poison 16. Small businesses getting crushed by new tariffs while Polis shrugs and sips latte 17. “Dark money” deciding school board races while parents get zero say 18. The same people who screamed “insurrection” on Jan 6 now calling political violence “understandable” 19. Property taxes still skyrocketing even after the “historic” relief bill 20. The fact that we have to keep saying “historic” every time politicians do the bare minimum That’s twenty fresh reasons to be pissed off before your coffee even cools.

🔥 CHAINSAW KITCHEN TALK 🔥 Here’s the straight, unfiltered truth about why Medicaid is eating the state budget alive and why half the room wants to hug it while the other half wants to take a chainsaw to it. 1️⃣ It’s not “free healthcare,” it’s a taxpayer-funded wood chipper. Every able-bodied guy I know who’s busting his ass framing houses or slinging concrete is paying for the neighbor who’s 32, perfectly healthy, and gaming the system with a side hustle in cash. That burns people. When your premiums are $900 a month for a family plan and you see someone else get it for $0 because they “only made $19k last year” (after tipping the bartender in twenties), you start sharpening the chainsaw. 2️⃣ The expansion turned it into a middle-class magnet. Pre-ACA, Medicaid was mostly kids, pregnant moms, disabled, and old folks. Now? A single guy making $45k in Denver can still qualify if he plays the deductions right. That’s not the safety net we signed up for. It’s a hammock. 3️⃣ Medical inflation is on meth. A knee scope that cost $8k in 2010 is $28k today. Drugs that were $40 a month are $1,400. The hospitals and Big Pharma jack prices because they know the government’s the payer of last resort and won’t say no. TABOR grows the budget at population + CPI—about 4-5%. Healthcare costs grow at 8-12%. Do that math for ten years and Medicaid becomes the 800-pound gorilla humping everything else. 4️⃣ The aging tsunami nobody wants to talk about. Colorado’s old folks are growing three times faster than the working-age population. Granny’s nursing home bill? $9-12k a month. Guess who pays when the savings run out? That’s Medicaid long-term care. And nobody under 50 wants to admit their parents are about to bankrupt the state. 5️⃣ The migrant variable. Denver’s giving free Medicaid-style coverage to thousands of new arrivals while telling disabled Colorado kids their autism therapy waitlist just got longer. That’s not compassion vs. cruelty—that’s math vs. optics. People see the optics and reach for the chainsaw. 6️⃣ The fraud and abuse is real, not Fox News fiction. Dead people still getting checks. Providers billing $800 for a $90 visit. “Pain clinics” that are basically OxyContin drive-thrus. The auditors find tens of millions wasted every year and we just shrug because “it’s only 2%.” Two percent of a $15 billion program is three hundred million dollars. That’s three hundred new fire stations or a thousand miles of repaved I-70. 7️⃣ Work requirements got gutted for a reason—politics. When Arkansas tried making able-bodied adults work or volunteer 80 hours a month, 18,000 lost coverage and the Left screamed bloody murder. So we caved. Now the incentive is: work 39 hours instead of 40, stay under the income cliff, keep the “free” insurance. That’s not a bug, that’s the design. Bottom line: Most of us don’t hate poor kids or old folks getting care. We hate the feeling that the system rewards gaming it while the guy paying the tab gets screwed. And right now, the chainsaw’s revving because the budget can’t keep up with the promises politicians made when the federal government was footing 90% of the expansion bill.

Politicians destroy local economies and any potential for prosperity with their self-serving political games, and then point fingers at the other side pretending they have no idea it was their own policies that systematically dismantled any potential success for livelihoods of the people who live there.

🔥 CHAINSAW KITCHEN TALK 🔥 Denver landlords didn’t vanish because they hate money. They vanished because Colorado politicians spent four years swinging a sledgehammer at their cash flow. Result? ✔️ Duplexes sitting empty from Aurora to Lakewood ✔️ Rents still through the roof ✔️ First-time buyers competing with ghost properties Lets bring back real estate investors and builders! Here’s the Chainsaw Plan to bring investors back: 1️⃣ Statewide ban on rent control—forever. Your building, your price. 2️⃣ 30-day eviction for non-payment. Courts move or we make them move. 3️⃣ Two-year property-tax FREEZE on every duplex, triplex, and apartment building. 2025 reassessment increases? Gone. 4️⃣ 10-year tax abatement if you buy and renovate in the five hardest-hit neighborhoods (Westwood, Barnum, Sun Valley, Montbello, Green Valley Ranch). 5️⃣ Short-term rentals legal again—no more nanny-state bans. 6️⃣ Zero impact fees on ADUs and duplex conversions. Build the damn casita. This isn’t a subsidy. This is removing the boot from the neck of private capital so they can do what government never could: build housing normal people can afford. When investors make money, renters get options and buyers get inventory. When politicians “protect” tenants, everybody loses. We’re putting the chainsaw to the red tape, the tax hikes, and the landlord hate.

I don’t know what you mean by “hard core MAGA,” but I would like to see our energy independence returned and manufacturing re-shored. I’d like for families to keep more than 2/3s of their income and more than 25% of students achieve expectations I’d like to see government returned to securing your rights instead of micromanaging your life. I guess we’re just different that way.

💥Why do gun rights matter so much for the poor and rural? 💥 Simple: In those communities, guns aren't about ego or insurgency; they're about survival and sovereignty. Rural America has gun ownership rates pushing 46%, way higher than the urban 19%, and for good reason. If you're a low-income family in rural Colorado, that firearm might mean venison for dinner when groceries are tight, or a way to fend off feral dogs, protect livestock, protect from meth-head burglars, or worse when response times stretch to hours. Studies show gun violence is hyper-concentrated in cities (60% of homicides in the 50 biggest metros), so urban-focused policies feel tone-deaf to folks who see their rights eroded without addressing their realities. Are you a Truman style Democrat? Do you feel disenfranchised from @coloradodems? Let’s join together to bring back common sense policy that wins!

I’m now a registered Colorado Democrat. @ChainsawCaucus stays 100% independent and will keep torching big spenders of every stripe. But here in Colorado, Democrats run the governor’s mansion, the House, the Senate, and every statewide office. If you actually want to stop the TABOR-busting fees, the endless new entitlements, the hospital monopolies, and the $2 billion+ “fee-for-service” slush funds, you don’t scream from the sidelines—you walk into the majority party and start cutting. The chainsaw just moved to the Democratic primary where the real power sits in this state. Colorado taxpayers, you’re welcome. 🪚🏔️ #ChainsawCaucus #CutColoradosSpending
