Friday's debate at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts has been cancelled. Due to circumstances beyond our control, but totally in the control of the venue, we're prevented from giving you the free speech debate you deserve.
No one backed out of anything. We said we were coming and would livestream, as agreed upon. @Penn tried to change the terms.
We are actively working with Professor Zimmerman to make the debate happen. Another venue. Full livestream. Controlled security.
The debate topic was free speech, where it stands, and who is trying to kill it.
